Interaction with Guests
*** The studio is attached to our home and we may be present during your stay. We do have two bubbly, small children that you may see or hear rumbling around the property. You may hear muffled, limited noise during the day as we go about our business but noise is limited. Since the studio itself is private the interaction between yourself and us is very limited.
However, we are happy to accommodate you in anyway we can. We've lived in the area for nearly ten years and are happy to share with you all our favorite places and share ideas of things to do and see in Ventura and surrounding areas.
Plenty of free street parking.
No Smoking or Drugs please. No pets, though we may make exceptions for small dogs upon approval. No candles, lanterns or open flame of any kind. Please keep outdoor noise levels low. This is a very quiet suburban neighborhood.
Quiet hours (no parties/social events) between the hours of 10:00pm and 7:00am as per the City of Ventura short term rental code .
Please no arriving back to the room after midnight.
This was the most perfect Airbnb. First of all, the neighborhood. Anna's home is smack dab in the middle of quaint and peaceful Ventura. We took a five minute drive down to the beach for some fish tacos that she and her husband recommended and came back for a super comfy night's sleep.
The unit has everything you could possibly need for your stay in Ventura. I'm so glad we decided to stay there. Thank you, Anna and family!
Our stay in Anna's studio was very comfortable. The facilities are exactly as described on the website, super clean, and conveniently located in a great neighborhood. Anna provided great directions and tips on local eateries, as well as extra treats. Thanks for hosting.
The cottage was perfect and Anna was an amazing hostess! She even left me a note with local recommendations - and the dark chocolate peanut butter cups were a treat! The cottage was impeccably clean and very roomy. I loved the claw footed bath tub! My first airbnb experience and it could not have been better!
We stopped off for one night at this fantastic private studio in Ventura. It was just what we needed after a long day of driving. So comfortable and cozy and great airbnb experience. Thank you so much for having us!
My husband and I really enjoyed Anna's home. It was a great central location for doing day trips to Oxnard and Santa Barbara, and of course, hanging out in Ventura. The home was cozy and clean and in a nice, quiet neighborhood. We really enjoyed the sliding glass door which afforded us a lot of natural light and a view of Ventura's famous Two Trees. We were traveling with our 3 month old baby for the first time and the home was just big enough to put a pack n play next to our bed although it was a tight squeeze. If you're traveling with a little one who wakes up frequently in the night, your partner will most likely wake up. If you are nursing, the best spot is probably the bed although I was able to manage in the rocking chair. As the bed is a little squeaky, I would suggest bringing a sound machine or downloading an app on your phone to help keep your baby asleep. Just know that it's tight quarters when you are considering an infant, but we managed perfectly and our little one slept great. The kitchenette was great for us to make breakfast and put together lunches for our day trips. We totally appreciated the ground coffee, bottled water, and Trader Joe's fig bars that Anna provided. Overall, a great 3 night stay.
Our host Anna was very thorough in explaining how to access the studio, and when we arrived, she had a list of favorite restaurants and coffee places. She had explained prior to booking that the kitchen is limited to a microwave for cooking, but we found it to be more than adequate for our needs. There is a full sized refrigerator, and plenty of dishes and silverware. There were plenty of towels and hot water. The studio is comfortable, and located in a very safe neighborhood, which was only blocks from shopping, and a short drive to all that we wanted to see while visiting in Ventura. Also there is a cute little private patio for guests to enjoy. We certainly were able to relax and enjoy our stay, thanks to this gracious host and cute private studio.
I had a flying visit and this place suited perfectly. Self-check in was easy, everything was clean and the bed was great. Anna had left everything I needed including coffee, water and breakfast bars. It was easy and really enjoyed the stay.
We are a young Christian family with two darling kiddos (4 and 2 years of age). My husband works and surfs everyday. I run marathons and surf as well. We love to hit the beach as much as possible. We travel and camp in our spare time in our VW Van. Cheers!
