  • Anna and RJ provided a wonderful place to stay. I would highly recommend this bungalow to anyone staying in the Ventura/Santa Barbara area. Great experience in every way.

  • We enjoyed our stay at the Studio! The location of the Bungalow is very private and in a very quiet neighborhood. Nevertheless, the town and beach are within a few minutes drive. RJ and Anna have been wonderful hosts and very easy to communicate with, before and during our stay. I do recommend this place and would definitely stay here again!

  • Anna and RJ have made a very comfortable little studio for guests on a quiet street in a nice neighborhood. It was nice having the kitchenette and the charcoal grill was a real plus. They were both extremely accomodating and responsive to some suggestions I made regarding some things they could add to make the studio more functional. I would definitely consider staying there again the next time I'm in Ventura.

  • Staying at Anna and RJ's little bungalow in Ventura was lovely! Convenient to town and the beach, comfortable, private, and with all of the little touches of home. Very pleasant hosts and accommodating. I definitely would recommend it for a night or two away.

  • What we loved about this place was the size, location, privacy, and extra effort that Anna took to create a pleasant experience for us.
There was a large kitchen area with ample counter space and a full size refrigerator and a very large bathroom. Although there was no stove inside, there is a microwave, and a good size enclosed patio with a BBQ and we used our camp stove there.
It was quiet and the private patio really created a very peaceful, serene atmosphere. It's centrally located, close to the harbor and downtown in a quiet residential area, and that was a real plus too.
The owners went out of their way to stock the place with snacks and food that we would enjoy and those extra little touches is what really sets this place apart from most of the other places.
I have already referred others to this place and I highly recommend it to anyone who needs a place in Ventura.

  • Anna's place was clean, comfortable and well located for our stay in Ventura. The arrival process was very super easy which was good for us because we arrived late due to traffic.

  • Anna and RJ were great hosts. The place was cute and clean, with snacks and coffee provided. We had a mishap with a piece of furniture; Anna & RJ fixed it creatively, quickly, and even threw in a bottle of wine! We would definitely stay here again. We never met the hosts, the guest house was private, and everything is a 5 minute drive away (which feels so amazing coming from Los Angeles).

  • What a great place to spend our night in Ventura. Anna and her husband have crafted an exquisitely comfy space in their home to host airbnb guests. Check in was easy, the bed awesome, and the little touches like the water and the food waiting for us when we checked in has definitely made it one of our favorite stays on airbnb EVER. I can only wish that everyone put this much into their places!

  • It is a very cute place. I gave it a 3 because it wasn't what I had in mind. I thought it would be much closer to downtown because of the pictures. I could have researched it further. Everything is there to meet your needs: water, coffee pot, snacks etc. It is spotlessly clean. It is very private and safe.

  • It was a pleasure to stay at Anna's mid-town Ventura studio. Parking was great, right outside of our door. We didn't have time to use the patio area; perhaps next time. The studio was nicely furnished and very clean. She included condiments that everyone needs (butter, mustard, oil, etc.) as well as snacks and water from Trader Joes. A generous supply of silverwear, dishes, bowls, etc. were greatly appreciated. We ate about half of our meals in the space. We plan on staying here again as we travel to Ventura several times a year. I would suggest a small table (there are already the two chairs) for a place to sit and eat with a good light above for reading, etc. Also I'm nearly blind without my glasses so it would be nice to have a stand next to the bed for my glass of water, eyeglasses and flashlight. Anna was happy to answer any questions that we had and was very responsive to our requests for towels. Plenty of hot water was also welcomed. We had the opportunity to meet her and her darling boys the morning that we left, We also thought it funny that everything that we wanted was just about one mile away (the beach, Trader Joes, the dog park, the shopping mall). Anna's neighborhood is a great place to call home during your stay in Ventura. Thanks Anna!
