If you are in Sacramento because of the UC Medical Center main campus, this is a good location to stay. My home is within walking distance for many people, depending on where you to need to go on the campus of the Medical Center. A bike is available for more distant but nearby destinations. A few of the Medical Centers clinics are located some distance away from the main campus and a long distance from my location and would require a taxi.
And why stay at a hotel alone when you can share the amenities of a home?
Although near the medical center, my home is only about a mile to the light rail and half a mile from the bus line, so you can go many places in Sacramento! The schedules and maps for the light rail, bus lines and Medical Center locations can be checked on line to do your planning.
The home has wifi, a driveway, free parking, two bedrooms, living room, dining room, kitchen and one bathroom. The kitchen is fully equipped, and a washer and dryer are available. The backyard is large with numerous fruit trees, a vegetable garden and lots of shade and even a fountain. Lots of sun too but very, very hot sometimes in the summer. Also, since it can be cold and rainy in the winter it works well to check the weather channel when planning a visit.
The house is all on one level with a convenient floor plan.
The two bedrooms share a common bathroom. The living and dining area have hard wood floors.
Starbucks and Subway are within easy reach. Other restaurants or cafes may be too far to walk for some but are within minutes by car.
I love to travel myself. I really enjoy meeting new people and hearing about their adventures and respect the need for privacy.
Sacramento is an interesting city. I like the "events listing" in the Sacramento Bee for things to do in Sacramento. Check it out online if are looking for some ideas.
Sacramento is home to the State Capitol, shopping, restaurants and tourists sites including Sutter's Fort-of Gold Rush fame, Old Town Sacramento, two rivers, and the fabulous railroad museum.

Margaret gives a comfortable and welcoming place to stay. I am transitioning to Sacramento and she has been very welcoming and supportive, offering great tips and insights. If you need to relax, the backyard is a virtual park - enjoy!!
Margaret was a wonderful host. She was very welcoming and she is a lovely person. And her dog is adorable and such a sweetie. The house was really nice, very clean, and a comfortable bed. Great proximity to UCD Med Center!
I really enjoyed staying at Margaret's house; it is in a lovely neighbourhood and the room was very comfortable with some thoughtful treats and water supplied. It is a close drive to Sacramento city centre. I would happily recommend to other guests, thank you for your kind hospitality Margaret!
Great location near medical campus and within walking distance of the MIND institute! Margaret was incredibly friendly, considerate, and respectful as a host.
Margaret was a great host and room was as advertised. Was staying for an interview at UC Davis hospital and it is a great location for future applicants. Would highly recommend.
Wonderful experience. Although arriving late, Margaret was extremely accommodating. She even supplied toiletries, snacks, water, etc. A great first Airbnb experience, Id stay with her again any time.
Margaret was a great, flexible, and friendly host. She had everything cleaned and ready and was able to accommodate my 3am arrival to her place. The room and bathroom are nice, and were everything I needed for my stay. She is exceptionally close to the UC Davis Medical Center and downtown as well. I would recommend her place to anyone looking to stay in Sacramento.

I love the outdoors and traveling. I've been lots of places. I just got back from Cabo where I went to whale watch. I stayed at an Airbnb location and had the best time. While whale watching I saw lots of whales swimming in pods, breaching and tale slapping. The guide identified them as right whales. It was even more exciting than usual for me because we went out in a zodiac. These were very fast zodiacs.
And two summers ago I had another special and terrific time. I spent some time in Panama City Beach , Fla. to see the sea turtles hatch. I saw two nests hatch and helped rescue several wayward little baby turtles. It was the experience of a lifetime. Lots of Jimmy Buffet on the radio and in the restaurants. Still deciding if I liked that or not.
Went up to the Pacific Northwest near Seattle to visit friends and hang out on the seaside. Lot of osprey and other bird wildlife. Nice and cool and even some sun. Special experience all the way around.
As an airbnb hostess I like to great my guests warmly and make sure they are comfortable. I think though that privacy is a top priority.
I live in a convenient location in Sacramento that is in a beautiful neighborhood. I have a beautiful backyard full of fruit trees and other trees and flowers. I have a small vegetable garden and enjoy vegan cooking.
My neighbors are warm and nice.
Come visit and check it out.
