My large bedroom (150 sq feet / 14 sq meters) is available for guests while I am out of town between Dec 21 and Jan 14 (dates can be flexible).
The room has an Ikea double bed, a large desk and 2 chairs. Extras include a Netflix/Hulu ready HDTV/computer monitor hook-up and your own mini fridge. WiFi and utilities obviously also included, as is access to the kitchen and living room.
Beyond the bedroom, guests have full access to all the common areas of the apartment, including living room, kitchen, and bathroom.
Interaction with Guests
Your roommates while here are two guys, one girl, and a cat. All in their late twenties to early thirties. Except the cat. She's 5, I believe. They are very relaxed, clean, and friendly, with ample experience traveling the world and meeting new people. They can interact as much or little as you're comfortable while they are home.
The apartment is an old brownstone in a rapidly changing part of Brooklyn on the edge of Park Slope and Downtown Brooklyn. In one direction is a cute main street with many small shops and restaurants, in another is a mall with all the modern retail you would expect as well as a world class sports/concert venue, and in another direction are artist lofts with dive bars and hidden galleries.
The apartment is less than a 2 minute walk to the Atlantic Ave-Barclays Center subway station entrance with direct access to 9 trains and 4 more around the corner. Easy access to JFK from nearby Atlantic Terminal. CitiBike is also a block away. You can literally get anywhere you want to from here, usually without a transfer.
Other Things to Note
If you want to stay more than 10 days message me and we'll work out a good rate!
Also, just double checking that you saw that there is a CAT here. You won't be taking care of her and she doesn't come into this room, but she is around.
Put it back the way you found it!
