The Space

The foam-core queen sized futon has additional 4" thick memory foam padding on top.
The back yard has a hammock and bench for your leisure- lots of trees, and birds abound.
Parking is on the street during Spring, Summer and Fall, unless noted, AND during winter months the driveway is required- don't get a ticket!

Guest Access

The living and dining areas are available, and there's a backyard with chairs and a hammock.

Interaction with Guests

I may or may not be around- will leave a key in the mailbox if I'm not there. I would be happy to share relevant information about the area for your stay, and am a local history and nature buff, so ask away! Don't forget to leave the key when you go!

The Neighborhood

Directions-
From the I 91 rotary, go east toward Greenfield on Rt 2.
After the 2nd light, take your next left onto Solon(Elm) and go 4 blocks. Right on West St., and house is in mid-block. Park in drive. We may need to shuffle cars on a weekday.

Getting around

Soon, we hope to have a passenger train! For now, there are buses up and down the valley (FRTA).

  • Robert was very accommodating, was able to use French press each morning along with use of kitchen. Close to co-op, which has wonderful salad bar and baked goods. Robert even offered the use of his bicycle if I wanted. I woke to birds chirping and noticed 2 bluebirds each day. Just what I needed.

  • Never saw Robert, but had excellent communication with him the entire process. Even though it was a very short stay, Everything was fine. Clean home, clean room, clean bath. Thank you Robert.

  • Lovely quiet home, very clean, tastefully furnished, super comfy bed. Easily walkable to Main St. I booked last minute and Robert was responsive, accommodating and friendly.

I only stayed one night and although $83 (including fees) was on the high side for my single person's budget, considering Greenfield's current lack of affordable accommodation (airbnb or otherwise), I consider myself lucky to have found this place.

  • My daughter is in boarding school in Greenfield and Robert's location was so convenient for me. Few minutes from the center city. A typical local house in which you will love to stay. Robert made every efforts to accommodate us, he even prepared an extra bed when we told him that we have might be three people. The house is really beautiful, warm and clean. There was OJ, bagel and coffee for breakfast. We could not have asked for more. He will definitely see me again!

  • Robert kindly took us in with little notice and made it super-easy to settle in and enjoy our stay. The house is neat as a pin, the bedroom large and the queen-size bed possibly the most comfortable I have ever slept on. We would happily stay here any time we're in the area.

  • My friends and I needed a last minute place to stay for a wedding in the area. This was my first time using airbnb, and I am very happy with my experience. Robert was very nice, accommodating and responsive. He gave us everything we needed: clean comfortable sleeping arrangements and fresh juice and good coffee in the morning. If you're staying in Greenfield, I would highly recommend him.
