Robin and Peter was so warm and made my stay so comfortable. I felt like coming home to a if family. Almost felt like I wasn't traveling but just home. Everything was very organized, clean and comfortable. I love that each room had color theme and individual refrigerator!! Would definitely recommend to friends and will go back again. Thank you!!
I stayed with Robin and Peter for 3 weeks and they were excellent hosts. They are both kind, well-read and willing to help out and go the extra mile for their guests.
The house is in a fantastic location and Robin and Peter have furnished the rooms with a desk, TV, room heater and have even looked after little comforts like providing slippers. There are bikes available and breakfast food is plentiful. As mentioned in their listing, the rooms are downstairs, so if you have mobility issues, it would not be suitable.
I would happily stay at Robin and Peter's again, would look forward to it and would definitely recommend it.
We throughly enjoyed our stay with Robin and Peter. They were both busy people who took the time to talk to us, which we appreciated. The room was most suitable and we had all we needed. We felt at home there and Robin had even organized a lovely soup and dessert for when we got off the 13 hour flight from Auckland. A lovely home in a lovely neighbourhood. The Drive 2 mins away had the edgy, interesting alternative type of shops we like and we could walk to ChinaTown and back from there. Plus the bus and train to DownTown were accessible. Highy recommended.
We really enjoyed staying at Peter and Robin's home. The location is great for exploring the city and as we are sushi addicts there was a great choice of Japanese restaurants for us just around the corner! The accommodation was clean and the possibility of using the kitchen is a big bonus.
The only minor inconvenience is that you have to share the bathroom, but we knew that in advance. Overall great place to stay!
Peter and Robin were great, and I REALLY loved talking with Robin. The location was very convenient, and it was amazing how quiet things get as soon as you set foot off Commercial Drive, which isn't noisy but does have a fair amount of people on it. The Drive reminded me of Harvard Square on steroids, other than that Harvard Square doesn't have a couple of medical marijuana dispensaries (I didn't see clients for them). Very convenient to public transportation with a lot of wonderful restaurants, and Robin's restaurant recommendations were right on. A great intro. to a great city; I loved Vancouver and hope to go back sometime, will definitely stay with Peter and Robin again if I do.
We had a very nice stay, the house is comfortable (we especially liked the bright kitchen, spacious and full of light) and well connected by public transport. We appreciated the lively Commercial Drive, that is close to the house! We didn't meet Peter and Robin in person but a friend of them welcomed us: she was very nice and kind. We would surely come back , if we happened to visit Vancouver again.
It was such a pleasure to stay at Peter & Robins place. They were extremely hospitable and made us feel completely at home. There were always fresh ingredients to make amazing breakfasts and Peter & Robin were always up for a good chat. This is one incredible AIRBNB and you will not regret staying here.

Peter was born in Montreal and I hail from Halifax, but we've lived in Vancouver for the past 25 years and raised our 3 sons here. We love travellers - perhaps because we've both lived overseas growing up. Peter is a software engineer and I am a counsellor. I think you will find us relaxed and easygoing, and our beautiful 100 year old home very comfortable.
