I introduce them to the apartment, and answer any questions. I will bend over backwards to help and accommodate my guests, and will be delighted to answer any questions of any sort they might ask. But then I leave my guests to their own privacy, to get on with the business of holidaying or work, in the knowledge that I am on the telephone at all times to help if need be.

Our stay at Ellie's apartment in Dublin was great! As noted, the cupboards and fridge are stocked, and there's information on local restaurants and sites. These thoughtful touches were very appreciated!
We didn't do any serious cooking, but could have - the kitchen is very clean, as cute as it looks in photos, and well-equipped.
The apartment is a great size for a single or couple, and the location is a quick walk to the centre while being a relaxing place to recharge.
Ellie is welcoming and was responsive to any questions we had. We had everything we needed, and happily recommend this studio as a cozy base for exploring Dublin.
We had a lovely stay at Ellie's apartment for 4 nights. The location is great, we just walked everywhere. There is a bus-stop nearby although we did'nt need to use it.
The apartment consists of a medium-sized living/sleeping room, with a separate kitchen and bathroom. Its furnished nicely with books and personal mementos & is very comfortable for 2 people. She's even got some lovely cookbooks in the kitchen & herbs in pots outside the main door, which was lovely. Everything you can think of is there, hairdryer, adaptor plugs, etc. Ellie even came back to give us an extra umbrella, because it looked like rain that day.
She stocked the fridge with enough breakfast ingredients to last us the 4 days with a lovely selection of teas and coffee as well.
Ellie herself is very warm & approachable right from the first email interaction we had with her. Highly recommended & would definitely stay here again if I could!
This was a great airbnb experience. The interaction with Ellie was very pleasant -- she is straightforward, communicative, and very hospitable. As others have noted, the refrigerator and shelves were well-stocked with basic foods. We loved the apartment -- it is bright, clean, and nicely decorated. Ellie seems to have thought of everything one might need (iron, ironing board, plug adaptors, etc.). The location is superb -- by the canal, not in the center, but 10-15 minute walk from it. Bus lines are a block away, LUAS a little further, and DART a little further yet, but all within 10 minutes or so. We would be very happy to stay in this flat again.
Our stay at the Studio on Leeson St area was ok. Firstly, communication with Ellie was excellent, she was waiting for us upon our arrival and the directions from the airport to the apartment couldn't have been more clear. The apartment in itself was a bit of a surprise, not because the photos are not accurate but because we have noticed that it could have been cleaner for our liking. The kitchen is small but equipped with the basics, the living room/bedroom was furnished with a couch and a comfortable bed and the bathroom had a hot shower. We never had the chance to use the washer/dryer as they are not inside the unit. The laundry is located at the bottom of the building. We needed to use the phone to address an airline issue, but the landline phone wasn't even charged. The location of the apartment was about a 20min walk from the city center with plenty of shops and pubs nearby. The wifi connection was great.
I have decided to offer a trip to Dublin to my girlfriend and the first mail contacts with Eleanor were so nice and so friendly that I have chosen to go on with my reservation!
Ellie told us the building needed to be refreshed but the apartment was nice and lovely decorated.
Ellie waited for us late in the evening and took time to explain us everything even if she needed to go back home and take her fly to London in early morning!
It was so nice of her.
The apartment was very clean and quite. The fridge was full of nice things.
The apartment was close to the town centre (15-20min walk) and there were some restaurants around it.
You can also easily find taxis nearby.
I would like to say it was a great and very nice experience. Thanks to Ellie for her explanation and kindness.
I can recommend Eleanor and her apartment to other tourists without restriction.
Enjoy your trip!!!
My wife and I had a great time in London and Ellie was a great host. She was always very helpful and responsive. The apartment was nice and perfect for a couple. The location was also great, it's about a 5min walk up to St. Stephen's Green - and from there just a little more to the Grafton Street and Temple Bar areas.
Ellie, it was so good to meet you and thank you again for everything!
Lovely stay with Ellie - would highly recommend and would happily stay again. Everything was as described and the photos are all accurate. The place has a lovely charm, is perfect for a weekend base to explore Dublin, and is well-located in a very quiet, peaceful spot.
Ellie was a lovely host, very communicative and helpful, and, as others have pointed out, the touch of having (quite a few!) bits and pieces stocked in the fridge on arrival is very thoughtful. The whole experience super-straightforward and low fuss!
Ellie was very gracious and helpful. We enjoyed the apartment and the location was perfect for my conference at Trinity College (about a 25 minute walk). There were restaurants and a Dunnes close by making it all very convenient. We would stay here again.
We spent a good time in Ellie's apartment. She was most thoughtful in receiving us, helping with luggage and providing food in the fridge for the first day.
She managed to promptly solve a few issues that came up during our stay .
We found the apartment a bit small for our needs. We both wanted to work during our stay, and after we installed our laptops and documents on the table there was no more room to have breakfast/lunch/dinner. Ellie helped out providing a folding table to eat from.
The location is very good, close to the city centre, to shops and bars. Well, bars are close at hand everywhere in Ireland anyway. I thought Ellie's apartment was good value for money in comparison with other online comparable options.
All and all we can recommend this apartment.
ellie was wonderful and very helpful and communicative. her place is a lovely little spot close to many great places in dublin. the food in the cupboard and fridge were a great bonus! we would definitely stay here again if we got the chance to come back to dublin. :) thanks again ellie!!
