What I love about this apartment: it is in one of the very best areas of the city, with many Embassys within a 10 minute walk; it is one of the safest parts of Dublin for walking even at night, and yet it is just a 5- 7 minute walk to St. Stephen's Green. The apartment itself is a little bijou in an unprepossessing apartment block. It is light, quiet, warm and cozy, with a big sofa and a comfy armchair and lots of good books, a well stocked fridge, and lots of character.
City centre studio apartment in Dublin 4, fully furnished, in an old fashioned vintage sixties period apartment block in need of updating, but this flat is updated with sound proofed windows, central heating, and fast broadband, though it retains its quaint character. It is situated on the second floor accessible by lift. It has a bedroom-sittingroom, kitchen and bathroom. Suitable for a couple or single person, with a king size bed, comfy armchair and large sofa. The flat is 370 sq.ft. (35 sq.m) in size.
Located in a prestigious and leafy residential area beside Leeson Street Bridge, in the in the heart of Georgian Dublin, the apartment overlooks the grand canal, and is within ten minutes’ walk to Stephens Green, Grafton Street, and Merrion Square, and within easy walking distance of Dublin Castle, Trinity College, Guinness Brewery, Christchurch, Ballsbridge, Ranelagh and Donnybrook. The apartment is in a fantastic location, close to restaurants, shops, theatres, and the National Concert Hall. It is beside bus stops, and three minutes’ walk to the nearest LUAS Station (Dublin city trams), Charlement Station.
All bed linens/ towels supplied. Fully equipped kitchen with microwave, fridge and cooker.
There is a swimming pool and sauna available at set times, €8 per hour. Landscaped parkland surrounding the apartment with seats for residents.
Interaction with guests
I am almost always there to welcome my guests, to guide them from the bus stop, and to help them carry their bags in. I usually have a welcome pack of groceries to settle them in. I introduce them to the apartment, and answer any questions. I will bend over backwards to help and accommodate my guests, and will be delighted to answer any questions of any sort they might ask. But then I leave my guests to their own privacy, to get on with the business of holidaying or work, in the knowledge that I am on the telephone at all times to help if need be.
Other things to note
Please note: If you require WEEKDAY PARKING, please let me know, and I will purchase resident's permits (€2 per 3 hours) as this is a city centre apartment, and parking is at a premium. However, there is free street parking from 7pm - 8am, and on Saturday evenings and all day Sunday. There is convenient public transport just across the street, and trams and trains nearby; and the heart of the city is within easy walking distance. It is generally recommended not to hire a car while staying in the apartment, especially during weekdays. It is difficult to travel by car to tourist venues, parking in the city is always expensive; many places are accessible on foot, and there is easy access to public transport.

I work as a freelance building project manager. I like to go hill walking with my two labradors in the Wicklow hills, and love to host evenings in my kitchen with friends and family.
