The space

Situated just 9km from Dingle, on the 'Wild Atlantic Way' this modern, bright, refurbished and extended holiday home is set in a complex of twenty other cottages.
The house is set in an area of natural beauty bounded on one side by the Chorca Duibhne mountain range and on the other side by Dun an Oir, Ceann Sibeal and the Three Sisters promontory. The seas of Smerwick Harbour lie within the 3km span between these majestic headlands.
In May 2016 Disney Lucasfilm returned to Kerry to shoot scenes for the next Star Wars movie, Episode: VIII at Ceann Sibéal headland. This spectacular headland can be seen and is within walking distance of our cottage.
The beaches of Beal Ban, Gortadoo, Wine Strand and Murioch surround our holiday home about 500m to nearest beach. Access to these beaches is a available by road
When the tide is out it leaves many interesting rock pools in it's wake and hours of fun for children catching crabs and miniature fish. Also, within 600 metres of the doorstep is a u-shaped harbour which creates a swimming area when the tide is in..
The cottage looks out on a shared green. To the front of the house is a south facing closed off garden which is safe for small children. There is also a garden shed at the side of the house containing a BBQ, kayak, life-jackets, 2 bikes,3-4yr (1) 8-10 years (1) and beach equipment (buckets, shovels, fishing line, fishing net, wet suits) available for our guests.
On the ground floor there is a large open plan kitchen, dining and living area, two double bedrooms ( 1 with en-suite shower and toilet), one twin bedroom, one family shower and toilet room and a hall way with a spiral staircase. Upstairs there is a double bedroom (mezzanine style).
Utilities include: a washing machine, tumble dryer, dishwasher, microwave, iron, hair dryer, oil central heating, wood burner and SKY television.
If you have small children they will be well catered for. We have child gates, baby bath, changing mat, high chair, sterilizer and 2 travel cots and a bed rail for toddlers who want to sleep in a big bed.

Brendas house was just amazing. She had everything you could possibly need and more. There was nothing we had to bring. We travelled with a new baby and she had the house equipped even for him, with baby bath, play mat, steriliser etc. The area was so quiet and fabulous beaches around the house. Its on the Slea Head Route and the scenery is just breath taking. Brenda was a fabulous host and a wonderful lady. Couldn't meet anybody more friendly.

We've had a fab holiday in this house. The host, Brenda is amazing and really goes above and beyond what is expected. The house is in a great location outside dingle, very close to ballyferriter. 3 lovely beaches close by and the must do Slea head drive very accessible from here. For a great holiday/break We highly recommend booking with Brenda, cannot fault at all.

Brenda provided us with lots of information, stayed in contact during our stay, the fridge was full with food and she even baked a cake and a pie. The house is beautiful and clean.

Excellent choice for staying in the Dingle area. Brenda was very helpful with her communications and showing us the house. She provided some excellent recommendations for things to see and do during our time in Ireland. Additionally and most importantly, the house is in beautiful order and in a great location. We would definitely stay at Brenda's place for our next visit to the area.

I cannot say enough good things about our stay with Brenda! We brought our 7 month old to Ireland with us and I was beyond nervous. He did great and it was certainly in part because of Brenda. She asked several great questions prior to arrival and used our answers to provide several personalized touches to make our stay more enjoyable--like having Alexanders favorite food (sweet potatoes) available when we arrived. The house was spotless and the views lovely. You can't beat the walk to the beech or the views either. Can't wait to come again.

Brenda was the best host we could have hoped for. Her introduction to the property and to the area made us feel right at home and she put in extra effort to keep me informed about all the local surfing spots which I had mentioned that I was interested in. The home cooked food she gave us was delicious and the perfect solution after our late flight. The property itself was beautiful and so tastefully decorated, just fantastic for relaxing and taking in the beautiful views surrounding the place. We would love to come and stay again.
