Welcome to our very comfortable holiday home, situated 10 mt drive from Dingle, on "Wild Atlantic Way". There are great views of spectacular Ceann Sibeal and Mount Brandon from our cottage. The beautiful beaches of Smerwick Harbour are located 500 meters away. Lovely local pub and Brewery at Tigh Brick just 800 meters from our cottage sells craft beer. The space

Situated just 9km from Dingle, on the 'Wild Atlantic Way' this modern, bright and refurbished holiday home is set in a complex of twenty other cottages.
The house is set in an area of natural beauty bounded on one side by the Chorca Duibhne mountain range and on the other side by Dun an Oir, Ceann Sibeal and the Three Sisters promontory. The seas of Smerwick Harbour lie within the 3km span between these majestic headlands. Spectacular Ceann Sibéal headland location for Star Wars episode V111 can be seen from our cottage.

When the tide is out it leaves many interesting rock pools in it's wake on Gortadoo beach where kids and adults alike can have hours of fun catching crabs and miniature fish. Also, within 600 metres of the doorstep is a u-shaped harbour which creates a swimming area when the tide is in.
The back of the cottage looks out on a shared green. To the front of the house is a south facing closed off garden which is safe for small children. There is also a garden shed at the side of the house containing a BBQ, kayak, life-jackets, 2 bikes,3-4yr (1) 8-10 years (1) and beach equipment (buckets, shovels, fishing line, fishing net, wet suits) available for our guests.

This was an incredible stay! Brenda’s home is so lovely, stylish, and comfortable in one of the prettiest locations we’ve been to in Ireland. The house has a great power shower, lovely kitchen and comfortable couches and seating areas. The bedrooms are beautiful and comfortable. Brenda is an amazing host with so many personal touches that made us feel so welcome in her home. If you are considering a trip to Dingle, I can’t imagine finding a better place to stay. Brenda thank you so much. Your thoughtfulness made this trip so memorable!

I cannot say enough positive things about both the home and the hostess, Brenda. The home was incredibly clean and had everything we needed. The location was so peaceful and quiet. Brenda was very communicative throughout the entire process. She provided us with detailed instructions on how to get to the home and how to do a self check-in. When we arrived, she had a bunch of information laid out for us from how to operate everything in the home to great spots to visit in the area. She had fresh fruit, a chicken and leek pie, desserts, and breakfast supplies for us. After driving five hours and arriving at the home late, I cannot tell you how much we appreciated the chicken and leek pie ... and not having to go back out and get food somewhere! My husband and I had the best time in Dingle, and much of it is due to Brenda's hospitality and beautiful home. If you're visiting Dingle, this is DEFINITELY the place to stay. You will not be disappointed.

Everything about Brenda’s place was amazing! She left lovely breakfast food and even a chicken and leek pie and apple crisp in the fridge. Even chocolates on the bed! Towels included and basic necessities. Plenty of room for our family of 6. Nice little wood stove and washer and dryer. The neighborhood was quiet and we walked down to the beach more than once to enjoy the water and beach-comb. If we ever come back to Dingle we will for sure stay here! About 5-10 minute drive to Dingle Main Street if you don’t get behind the farmer and the cows! Haha. Also a good starting point for driving around the Dingle peninsula.

I've given stellar reviews before on AirB&B, but none have compared with this stay. Brenda was far and away our best host ever - we arrived to a freshly prepared and lavish lunch laid out on the table, and fresh flowers in several rooms (plus plenty of extras stocked in the fridge and breadbox). What a generous and unexpected start to our stay! Aside from Brenda's generosity, the cottage couldn't have been better outfitted. We enjoyed cozy peat fires each night, comfy beds, hot showers, and the kids delighted in wetsuit-clad swims each day despite the cold weather during our visit. And stick ball! And boules! And... well, you get the idea. It was absolutely perfect. Brenda is lucky we ever went home. ;-)

Excellent choice for staying in the Dingle area. Brenda was very helpful with her communications and showing us the house. She provided some excellent recommendations for things to see and do during our time in Ireland. Additionally and most importantly, the house is in beautiful order and in a great location. We would definitely stay at Brenda's place for our next visit to the area.
