A nice and very comportable place near a somewhat busy road. But that was no problem with a beautifull garden and a moumtain view. The homemade applejuice , the regular visits of the peacock and turkey and a nice fire place made our stay to be very relaxing.

Great accommodation within a five minute drive of Clonmel and surrounded by the beautiful scenery of South Tipperary and Waterford. Very hospitable hosts - wouldn't you like to find a chocolate cake waiting for you on the step after a day out? When we arrived we found there was bread, milk, fruit, scones, cake waiting for us in the very well equipped kitchen. Wereally enjoyed the large and attractive garden with its resident peacock.

If you are looking for peace, warmth, comfort, beauty and charm... look no further. June and Tom are the perfect hosts for this unbelievably beautiful place. Whether renting the cottage or a room in their incredible home, you will not be disappointed. In fact, I guarantee your expectations will be exceeded! The view from literally any window is everybody's dream vision of the Irish countryside. Gorgeous green for miles! The home (URL HIDDEN) will make you want to go home and completely redecorate. It is spotless but incredibly welcoming, warm and cozy. It's impossible to do it justice with words. You have to see it to believe it. I don't know how they do it. June and Tom are seriously the nicest people you'll ever meet. Meeting them for the first time seems like you've known them for years. They bend over backwards to make sure your every need is met and more. There is one thing that really makes them stand out. They have the key to being the perfect B&B hosts.... They know how to read their guests!! They are always ready and waiting for interesting, intelligent conversation yet they also give the perfect amount of privacy. Again, I don't know how they do it! I can honestly say that this is the only place that we have ever stayed, where upon leaving, we truly wished that we had stayed in more often and hung around the house with the hosts, rather than travel out and about the area. We truly wanted to spend more time with them. We can't recommend this place enough and wish we could have given it more stars. Lisa and Brent Schmeling

Best hosts we've ever had! June and Tom were extremely welcoming, even noting dietary preferences in my profile and providing dairy-free foods, drinks, and fresh cider & jam from their garden. The home was beautiful. The grounds are gorgeous. June and Tom were flexible on check-in and check-out. Couldn't have asked for a better experience. Our only regret is not having time to spend with June and Tom. Would definitely stay again!

We had a lovely time at Killaloan Lodge. June and Tom are very welcoming and friendly. They left out bread, butter, jam, milk, apple juice, cheese, fruit and milk for us and lit the stove both nights of our stay. The garden is beautiful and there is an exciting array of fowl to observe. It's a great base for walking in the Comeraghs. Highly recommended. We'll be back!

I am originally from Fethard in Co. Tipperary. I have spent time living in Zambia, The United States and France, but have spent most of my life living in Clonmel. My partner and I renovated and extended this 1930s house and apartment in 2011. Love nature, gardening, spirituality, food, and travel.
