Beautifully furnished one bedroom apartment situated in a 2 acre mature garden. The apartment consists of sitting room with french doors and solid fuel stove, fully equipped kitchen, double bedroom and bathroom with walk in shower.
The peaceful and secluded apartment overlooks a mature 70 year old garden with a range of native trees and planting. It is south west facing and full of natural light.
The property consists of the one bedroom garden apartment and two private rooms in the main house with their own entrance. We can accommodate up to 6 people.
The1930s house was renovated in 2011 and is situated at the foothills of the Comeragh mountains. It is a short walk to the river Suir and Killaloan churchyard from the house. There are beautiful mountain walks in the Comeragh's and Slievnamon nearby. The house is just two miles from Kilsheelan village and three miles from Clonmel, where you have a range of restaurants, pubs and shops. We are also very close to historic, Cahir, Cashel, the beautiful Nire valley and the Vee. The property is only half an hour drive to Kilkenny, Waterford 40 minutes from the coast. Cork is one hour south and Dublin is approx. 2 hours. There are a range of activities available nearby such as horse riding, hiking and walking, canoeing, fishing, golf and surfing in nearby Tramore.
We had a fantastic time in this wonderful accommodation in Clonmel. From the beginning the hosts made us feel very welcome and went out of their way to make our stay very special. The accommodation itself is completely self-contained and separate from the main building allowing full privacy. Inside the apartment is gorgeous and very spacious. It is newly fitted and very nicely decorated. Outside there is a fantastic garden and view of the countryside. I cannot recommend the accommodation and owners and more highly. By far my best AirBnB experience so far!

I am originally from Fethard in Co. Tipperary. I have spent time living in Zambia, The United States and France, but have spent most of my life living in Clonmel. My partner and I renovated and extended this 1930s house and apartment in 2011. Love nature, gardening, spirituality, food, and travel.
