Check-in and check-out times can be flexible if asked ahead of time.
It's a very clean and cozy place, easy to check-in and out, close to everything, served its purpose. Loved New York!
We loved the location of Lisa's apartment. It is in a quiet area and lovely building, but is still close to the metro and central park. The bed and the couch were very comfortable. Although the apartment was great, we did experience a few communication issues. Firstly, the keys were not readily available as were advised by Lisa. Secondly, Lisa charged us for a 3rd person to stay when "no charge" was clearly advertised for additional people on her airbnb profile. The charge was minor and in the end we were happy to pay, but we would have preferred to know the charge in advance before booking the apartment.
Lisa's apartment is conveniently situated near Central Park, and not very far from two subway stations.
Lisa made us feel very welcome and provided very helpful notes on the apartment.
Lisa was very nice as she contacted me with all needed info. before my arrival; we had no issues in getting the keys and finding the apt.
The apt. was not as expected, however...For my standard it was not very clean and it lack space to put your stuff, as the available closet is with clothing from Lisa or whoever lives there. There are at least 55 steps, which is fine for me, except when you have luggage...
The neighbourhood is very very good, very well located!
For my troubles with a couple of neighbours Lisa did refund me some money, as neighbours are not very keen on having "strangers" occupy the apt. every so often...
Overall ok but I would not go back to this apt. thank you.
Me and my friend Ian didn't get to meet Lisa but the check-in and out was easy - by the way, we counted on the kindness of the previous guests who let us leave our luggage until check-in time. Thanks, girls! We also could leave the apartment in the best hour for us, close to our flight time. The apartment is simple, small but very comfortable! The bed and the couch are amazing, great to rest after a day up and down by the city. The bathroom was also very comfortable, plenty of space for our stuff and to get ready inside. The area is very safe, metro is just two blocks away and Central Park is in the corner! A walk distance of Columbus Circle and AMNH, also lots of good stores and restaurants. I'm already missing! Lisa is a great host, very helpful. I highly recommend her place!
The host canceled this reservation 15 days before arrival. This is an automated posting.
Lisa was a wonderful host - she was fast to reply to all of my questions and left great instructions, and easy to connect with while we were there. The apartment is perfect! Great location(tons of food & shopping within steps, and walking to Times Square and Central Park right outside your door!), comfy bed, bright, very cozy & welcoming. Highly recommend Lisa & this space.
