Thank you so much for opening your lovely home to us. We did not spend a lot of time there as we were all over Paris to get as much in as possible. We realy enjoyed our stay and hope all was left to your expectations. We would love to come back one day.
The apartment is fully equipped for most scenarios from a monopoly board game to a vacuume cleaner, even a spare table and stools. I thoroughly enjoyed the plants in the kitchen and in the window boxes. We even had a true Parisian pigeon nesting in the window box outside of our bedroom window with two eggs, which HATCHED during our stay! So we found that delightful :)
We felt very safe in the apartment with two keypad codes to get in the building and then a super industrial locking system on the door (easy to use). I didn't always feel safe in the area, there are a lot of people who came up to ask us for money. However, this is not uncommon in all of Paris. So I simply recommend commonsense when getting about and not keep all your money on you and divide it into different pockets of your bag, and to keep your bag In front of you when walking about. The only other thing was the shower screen doesn't completely seal at the base as it's a collapsable fold away. This meant that we had quite a bit of water on the bathroom floor after every shower, which we had to mop up to keep the area safe and clean.
My partner and I also enjoyed getting fresh baguettes and croissants daily... We are somewhat larger than when we first arrived :)
Heide was extremely helpful snd organising check in and check out was easy. She provided a welcome manual, which was lovely to look through on arrival at the apartment.
Hospitality perfect, the house was as it appeared in the ad, very comfortable, bright and clean. The neighborhood is quiet with supermarkets, shops and bakeries. I loved the tranquility of the house and the proximity to the Metro station. Heide was very precise and available for delivery of the keys.
Fantastic place at Montmartre. NO complaints at all :-)

This was my first Airbnb booking and I must confess I was slightly apprehensive but it turned out to be fantastic way to spend a few working days in Paris. Heidi's apartment is just as described & was immaculate. Great communication with Heidi. Madame Vesna (who sorted out keys etc) was lovely & very helpful & it is very peaceful. Yes, there are 5 flights of stairs but you won't mind the trek once you get into the apartment. It is a real lesson in compact living as well. I'd definitely want to stay again when I am back in Paris. Highly recommended.
Upon arrival we felt very welcome - with the detailed descriptions it was easy to find the house, pick up the key and get into the apartment. We got to meet our host shortly and she was very nice and welcoming. There was also a folder full of info ready - recommended restaurants, maps, how to use anything in the house (internet, kitchen), local sites, ...
The neighbourhood was great - close to bakeries, butchers, local bars, etc. also in intermarche right around the corner as well as the metro station. At night the neighbourhood was quiet, we felt very safe and slept peacefully.
We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend this place to friends!
About the Host, Heide
I'm a professional classical musician touring frequently all over the world.
While being away I'm renting out my home in Paris.
Since I myself need to stay in rental apartments and hotels during my touring I have a pretty good idea of what I like in a place in order to be comfortable.
It is important for me to be in an enviroment which is treated with LOVE AND CARE.
With this in mind I'm also welcoming guests into my home! :-)
