From Mar 1 - May 31, 2015 the minimum stay is 1 night.
We had a great ECONEST experience. The apartment was very clean and inviting and the location was super convenient for a quick drive to Pt. Reyes, Samuel P. Taylor Park, etc. Marcia was very prompt and communicative and provided a great list of recommendations (food, hikes, etc.) in the area. We also brought along our dog, a mini-poodle, who had a nice time too.
Hi Emily, Sorry I didn't get to meet you and Adam and HEART. I saw Heart out the window yesterday. What a beautiful dog. Thank you for leaving the NEST so clean. It's nice having hypo-allergenic dog breeds. There was no fur or hair anywhere, and HEART was very quiet (unlike our dogs). Hope you come back and I get to meet you next time. Thanks for being perfect guests. Marcia
Marcia was a very gracious hostess. The hostess with the mostest as they say.
I loved the space and was very comfortable there. The area is DIVINE. I can't wait to come back.
Marcia was very accommodating, fixing things and checking up on us via email to see if we needed anything. The listing was exactly what I expected. No surprises. I loved the NEST. It is located in a very safe, cute, and quaint neighborhood. I fell in love with this quiet, secluded area. Perfect place to get away.
Hi Shawnee, Thanks so much for your stay and your review. Yes, the water heater collects sediment from our hard water on the inside, and because it's stainless on the outside once people handle it, it gets fingerprints, etc. but we always clean it between guests, and we do our best to remove the sediment from the inside, but it's not dirt, it's just the salts from our water. We replace it frequently too because of that. Glad you enjoyed and hope you return. Thanks, Marcia & Andy
I had a wonderful time relaxing a day and night away in the EcoNest. Marcia was incredibly helpful before my stay and was able to suggest places to go for short and long hikes along with food recommendations. I was impressed with their hospitality and would definitely stay again.
Marcia and Andy were great. Andy helped us unload our car when we got there. They pretty much kept to themselves but whenever we saw them waved and said hi. Forest Knolls is a lovely, serene and quiet spot. We truly loved our time at the ecoNeSt. We will definitely be coming back.
Sweet, peaceful space amidst trees and birdsong. I came to the eco-nest for recuperation after school session ended. Marcia and Andy are very kind people, thoughtful, welcoming, helpful. I was able to bring my cats, which was really a blessing. This sanctuary is close enough to Pt. Reyes if you're up for a hike or visit to the ocean (25-30 min drive)... you can also easily drive into Fairfax for a nice meal or cup of coffee. I was very happy on the balcony absorbing the sun and the views, reading, writing, and blissing out Great place to stay.
Thanks Jennifer, and thank you for leaving a bit of your creativity on the refrigerator. I love the way you arranged the magnetic poetry. We're really glad you got what you came for. Your cats are beautiful. Sorry I didn't get a picture of R. My sister, who has a Maine Coon, kept asking me about him. If you happen to have one, would you email it so I can show her that I was not telling a tall tale (or tail)? Thanks, Marcia & Andy
Marcia and Andy's Eco-Nest was the perfect weekend getaway for us. The space was immaculately clean and very comfortable, and close to Point Reyes and other places well worth exploring. The neighborhood becomes a redwood forest just up the road, and is filled with birds and deer and other wildlife. We particularly enjoyed spending time on the patio, and ended up getting really restful sleep.
Marcia was an excellent host, communicative and flexible, and sent us lots of great tips and ideas for places to visit which we acted on. A lot of attention to detail was paid with this space and it shows. Highly recommended. Hope to come back someday!
