The Farm is a nice place, with friendly caretakers and a well kept swimming pool. It is not ideally located (hard to find and to get away from), so it is best to go there if you intend to stay there or have your own car. The breakfast was rather minimal by any standard, one would expect more for the price one pays. An issue overschaduwing our two day stay here, which must be mentioned if only as a warning, is the way Fouad handled the fact that my wife showed massive bed bug bites the first morning after sleeping in one of his tents. Those bites might have resulted from another stay elsewehere (my bites showed only a few days later, which is not uncommon), but the fact that Fouad sent us an e-mail warning against 'warda's' (mosquitoes) two days before we arrived makes us somewhat suspicious (as we did not see or hear any mosquitoes, yet counted more than 70 bites on both our bodies). Fouad should at least aknowledge that there either are bed bugs at his location or that they could have been brought there by us, and take proper measures. However, despite the fact that we called Fouad to inform him the first morning, corresponded with him to explain to him the risks for other visitors, sent him pictures of massive bites fitting the bed bug profile (linear bites) and even a picture of an actual bed bug that we, against all odds, found and captured in our luggage after returning home, he chose to remain in state of denial. What made matters worse is that he got personal, accusing us of various things not worth repeating here, perhaps trying to portray the issue as a personal conflict of some kind. Disapointing. Bottom line: enjoy your stay, but beware of bed bugs.
