My daughter and I just had the most wonderful stay in Lilas apartment. It is in such a beautiful area of Paris and after each long day of sightseeing we were so glad to get "home", even though our real home was over 16,000km away in Australia! It was only a short walk from St Pauls Metro station and we felt very safe in this area. The kitchen was fabulous, had a microwave, oven, fridge, cooktop and dishwasher. And we cooked most nights and there was enough room in the apartment for the two of us. My 15 year old daughter was very happy with the wifi. The washing machine came in handy as we had been traveling for a few weeks and needed to do some laundry. I had read about the stairs in other reviews; didn't bother us - you are only lugging your luggage up once and it felt special and unique anyway. As soon as you turn into the Passage way leading to the Apartment, the whole area felt amazing and unique, so different from a boring modern hotel room and even our own family home! The views from the kitchen and lounge room were incredible, looking over a small courtyard, a church and in the distance a playground of a school. I can totally recommend Lilas apartment to anyone looking to stay in Paris and if I ever come back and bring my husband, it is where I would stay again. It made Paris extra special and I really loved this city! It was my first experience booking through Airbnb and everything has gone so smoothly. I was nervous of the whole process at first but now I highly recommend using it for all accommodation needs. Thank you Lila for allowing Emma and I to stay in your Apartment and I recommend it 100% to any other person trying to work out where to stay in Paris (and I know it's confusing because there is so much choice on Airbnb - I spent days and days researching it). Stay there and enjoy!!!!
It was fantastic in Lila's apartment. There is nothing at all to complain about and we will definitely ask her to take us again during our next stay in Paris.
Sehr netter und freundlicher Kontakt. Früheres Check-in war möglich.
Sehr hilfsbereit, reibungsloser Ablauf! Gerne wieder!
We had a fantastic stay in Lila's aparment. The location was perfect and close to everything we wanted to see. We walked almost everywhere during our time here and love all the cute little shops and bakeries around the neighborhood. The apartment itself was exactly as described and having English speaking channels on TV was a nice bonus. Overall, a great stay and would definitely be back here again. Highly recommend!
The apartment was clean, comfortable, and at a perfect location. Wifi worked well and the kitchen was easy to use.
I highly recommend Lila's unique place!
Upon arriving at the apartment (we were early), Lila's husband greeted us and showed us around. It's a lovely spacious apartment! It's just too bad that during our stay there Lila wasn't as responsive with her e-mails as I had hoped and read in other reviews. The previous visitor left with the hair dryer and unfortunately Lila forgot to buy us a new one. I'm sure this was an exceptional case but it did affect our experience here. Also, I was very surprised to see leftover and used deodorant, shampoo, baby powder and wipes, facial cream, etc. from previous visitors in the washroom. I personally feel it's more hygienic to throw those out after visitors leave. Overall I felt my stay here was nice, not to mention the great view too, but it definitely could've been better.
