The cabin was just as described and we had a very comfortable and trouble-free stay. Patricia was very responsive to all of our questions. We stayed there during a very cold week and were completely comfortable. The house is well located and close to the ski areas where we spent most of the week. We would definitely recommend Patricia's cabin.
Patricia left a great list of "house rules" including near by food places, pools/saunas, and entertainment which was very helpful. 3 bedrooms, a loft with a bed and futon, open kitchen/livingroom which had a nice family feel. You don't even see the neighbors on either side, but since it is right on the main road when a big truck goes by you can hear it. There really isn't much traffic though so it is nothing to distracting. Great house, if I go boarding again at Sunday River I will be staying there again.
The reservation was canceled 7 days before arrival. This is an automated posting.
Patricia was very helpful in providing the information we needed to say at her cabin during our two week vacation. The cabin is comfortable, clean and convenient to the nearby towns of Paris, Norway and Bethel.
We brought our dog along, and there were lots of trails behind the cabin that were great for dog-walking.
The only negative note was that the location is next to RT 26, which had traffic noise from time to time. It wasn't bothersome enough to keep you from sleeping, but it could be significant.
In all, we had a successful trip, and Patricia was a good host!
About the Host, Patricia
Life is too short. Enjoy it while you can!! I am a single mother of two small children who likes to emphasize fun family time. Maine has always been the perfect place to do that. We practically live at Sunday River in the winter and enjoy the numerous picturesque lakes in the summer. I hope you find our home as quaint and inviting as I do!
