A unique and magical place in the heart of the city that gives the most exciting feeling that a guest can experience in Venice: the feeling of living like royalty within the walls of the most prestigious Palace in the city.

It was a fantastic trip. We stayed in one of the suites overlooking the canal. The staff is friendly and helpful. Higly recommended. We definately plan to go back.
We were visiting Venice at the End of October to have a weekend at the biennale for architecture. The weather was really a challenge. There was high tide, storm and rain with low temperature. Only at the last day the sun were showing how it also can be in the lagoon city. But with all these mess outside, we enjoyed every evening the good food we get served in the nice restaurants we found.
We've just had a wonderful stay at the Palazetto Pisani. Thank you.
Finding it was an adventure in itself... we could see it, we just couldn't get there, but that's all part of the unique and wonderful experience that is Venice. And finding such a historic and palatial place down those little winding alleys was a real treat.
We would have loved to have arrived by boat, right to the door... but that was a little out of our budget. However, we were still made to feel very welcome by the very helpful lady on reception.
Our room was on the ground floor (I think they called it The Green Room) which was very nicely appointed with a luxurious shower room. The canal was just outside our window – just a foot below the sill in fact – but that just made our stay even more Venetian. And apart from the odd boat doing a delivery, it was very quiet.
Unfortunately, it seems the large communal room which looks onto the Grand Canal itself was being used as a suite... which was a bit of a shame, as it would have been nice to have taken advantage of the prestigious location of our hotel with a drink or two leaning out the window, but hey ho, you can't have everything.
Breakfast was fine and set in a very grand and atmospheric room. Unfortunately we weren't able to enjoy it on the last day as we had to leave early for the airport!
Anyway, all in all, it it is a lovely little hotel which is an oasis of calm right in the middle of one of the best cities in the world. It's not cheap (although I don't think anywhere in Venice is!) but it is a unique place to stay, it's relatively grand and it has a brilliant location just 30 seconds walk from the bustling Campo San Stephano square.
We couldn't have asked for more. Thank you.
Lieu magique. La vraie Venise un retour vers la Venise du temps de sa splendeur.
The stay was all-in-all very good. The Palazzetto is beautiful and something like 500+ years old. The location is quite good with about a 5 minute walk to St. Marks and plenty of restaurants and shops nearby. The hotel itself is a little hard to find (the entrance is kind of tucked back in an alleyway and (website hidden) Maps was really confused) though close to the Academica vaporetto stop. The staff at the hotel were wonderful and very accommodating and helpful. Our only complaint was that it was very hot when we were there and there was no AC which meant we had to leave the windows open to make the room bearable. With a room on the ground floor right on the canal this unfortunately meant a lot of mosquitos :( I saw some air conditioners there in boxes so perhaps this issue will be remedied in the near future. They also did provide a fan which helped out. It isn't cheep but what is in Venice with a good location? I think the quality of the staff, the beautiful accommodations and the great location easily justify the price. We would stay here again.
Palazzetto Pisani is a truly magical place and yes it really is a palace! Its steeped with history and charm. Its location right on the grand canal is perfect with breathtaking views. It can be accessed from the grand canal or through the narrow lane ways of Venice. We had breakfast in the spectacular dining room and listened to the opera singing that was breezing through the giant windows from the music conservatory next door. Agnes and the staff at the palace made sure that our stay in Venice was one of the most memorable experiences that we will always cherish.
WOW. What more is there to say.... Great location, great rooms, great friendly hosts. Would highly recommend staying at the Palace!!!!
Thanks very much for the excellent stay. The room was fantastic and the living room and balcony were wonderful. Thanks for making us feel at home!
Very good experience to stay in a palace, The environment is very different from the modern lodging. Original paintings and decorations. Love it.
First time visit to Venice was wonderful. Got off at San Marco, but you need to go 1 more stop. We didn't and had to walk over several bridges with steps on both sides with much to large luggage! lol When we first arrived we were greeted at a nearby restaurant from someone who was expecting us and showed us the rest of the way down and ally way to our hotel. The hotel is right on the Grand Canal and was old and beautiful. The bathrooms have been updated but kept in with the period it was built in and the rooms were great overlooking the canal with windows or doors that opened and the beautiful breeze would blow in! The breakfasts in the formal dining room were the best with fresh pastry etc. Everything was within walking distance, bars, restaurants, San Marco, water boats(vaporetti) and shopping! Someone told me to try to get lost so we walked down several alleyways (one more exciting that the next) and it was wonderful! You either find great little shops, restaurants or squares! You never really get lost, you just find great things! Loved, loved, loved Venice and hope to return there someday soon and stay with our wonderful hosts Agnes and Nicoli again!
