Located in the heart of Sonoma Valley is a historic property on 1.11 acres that boasts several gardens and an olive orchard. Directly below the main residence is a newly finished 1,400 sq ft unit with a large bedroom, bathroom, and family room with a wet bar, fridge, microwave, and water kettle. The unit is equipped with WiFi & AC/heating.
The property is located across the street from beautiful St. Francis Winery, hiking trails at Hood Mountain Regional Park & access to public transportation.

The space
Upon entering the unit through a private entrance there is a living room with a queen size sofa bed, dining table, desk, custom made wet bar, fridge, microwave, hot water kettle and large flat screen smart TV. Past the living room and towards the back of the unit is a large carpeted bedroom with a queen size bed, desk, dresser, and large flat screen TV. Connecting the bedroom and living room is the bathroom. WiFi is available and both TVs have Netflix. Only the living room tv has basic cable channels.
The unit does have a private wine cellar, laundry room, and storage space (for our personal use) that we may need access to occasionally. We are very respectful and will give you advance notice if we need to access the unit.

One of the reasons we fell in love with this property is because of its close proximity to several fun places:
• St. Francis Winery- Known for its great wines, mountainous views, and food program, St. Francis Winery is a top destination in the area. Simply walk across the street!
• Hood Mountain Regional Park- The park consists of 1,750 acres of wilderness with 19 miles of trails. The best part is that the trail starts across the street from our property at the corner of HWY 12 and Pythian Road.
• Public Transportation- Want to take public transportation to Santa Rosa or Sonoma? Several bus stops are located next to the property on Pythian Road & HWY 12.
• Oakmont Community and Golf Course- Our property is located next to a well-known quiet retirement community. The community offers several dining options and a golf course approximately 1 mile from the property. The Oakmont Golf Course has 2 courses designed for golfers of all skill levels.
• Sonoma Valley Wine Country- Several award winning wineries are located within close proximity to the property.
• Conveniently Located Between Sonoma & Santa Rosa- The property is located approximately 20 minutes from downtown Santa Rosa, 20 minutes from downtown Sonoma, and 30 minutes from Napa County.

We live directly above the unit with our two young boys. Christine and our boys stay home most days and you will often find them out in the garden or strolling our neighboring community.
