This beautiful high specification garden Apartment has been furnished and fitted out to a very high standard. Situated in the very popular Albayt Resort, Country Club & Spa Complex.
The Apartment is surrounded by lush beautifully maintained tropical gardens with 7 Swimming Pools, one of which, a split-level pool (email hidden) & Restaurant, is right beside the apartment. In the Country Club there is a heated indoor pool in the Spa area.
At the heart of the complex is the stunning Albayt Resort Country Club & Spa. This is the "Jewel in the Crown" of the development, which offers a range of services including a state of the art Spa. There are also Paddle Tennis Courts, Restaurant with Terrace, Full Bar, Library, Reading room, Golf Academy, Reception desk and a fully equipped Gym.
WiFi Internet Access.
For those of you who like to keep in touch with Cyber Space, there is access to a secure password protected "WiFi" hotspot in the apartment (provided by Mercury Internet). There is also access to a secure “Wi-Fi Hotspot” which is available at the Albayt Club House and is free to guests using the facilities (eg Restaurant, Coffee Bar, Gym, Spa etc).
An extensive range of aerobics classes and beauty therapy treatments are also provided.
Thank you indeed for an opportunity to stay in your apartments. Everything was fine. We were glad to find out that the apartment perfectly matches the description and in some cases it even exceeded our expectations. There is absolutely everything down to the last detail we would need for a comfortable stay. It was very nice and convinent to spend time with our baby on the lawn at the house. We do hope to be back.
The host is extremely helpful and very quick to reply. The property is as advertised. March is a little early in the season and not everything is open. The apartment is a great size for a small family. The neighborhood feels safe and secure. Well maintained. The apartment has what is needed to feel comfortable and the kitchen is well stocked with utensils, dishes and pots.
Appartement plutôt bien aménagé, bien équipé dans une résidence sécurisée avec parking fermée. Le rapport qualité prix est tout à fait intéressant. Quant aux piscines des résidences y'en a pour tout les goûts et tout les âges. C' est vraiment le gros plus de la résidence. Le seul bémol c'est que la voiture est vraiment indispensable sinon vous vous trouverez coupé du monde. Sinon buenas noches est près de tout en voiture et Mr Larkin est un super hôte, très intentionné et très précis dans ses explications. Nous y avons passé 1 semaine fin septembre et le temps était encore magnifique!!!

The accommodation was top class, spacious, comfortable and perfect for my needs. I managed to relax in one of the two nearby swimming pools, in between working and travelling elsewhere. This was an ideal way for me to step out in body and mind.
Nearby La Casona restaurant served up a perfect al dente penne pasta, crowned with a glass of Rioja. Also across the highway in Duquessa, I dined in perfect company and thoroughly enjoyed the vegetable curry.
I'd go back! this is the perfect stop over between Gibraltar and Malaga for me, as well as a future holiday location with my family.
My regret was not having time to visit the spa at the Albayt Resort Country Club, but there's time for that ahead. The staff at the club were very welcoming, polite and helpful.
Very nice & cozy place. I definitely recommend others to rent this apartment. The apartment is exactly as described! :) We really enjoyed the stay! We were there for our Honeymoon it was great!

Estuvimos alojados durante una semana. Está ubicado en un resort de lujo muy tranquilo y acogedor.
Al apartamento no le falta de nada, tiene todas las comodidades necesarias. Además está todo muy limpio y con buen tiempo el jardín es muy agradable.
El propietario es muy atento y contesta rápidamente a las dudas o consultas que hagas.
Es necesario, bajo mi punto de vista, contar con transporte personal para poder desplazarse con comodidad a Estepona, situado a unos 5km, y para visitar otros lugares de interés: Ronda, Marbella, Mijas, etc.
We were delighted to find this lovely apartment in which to have a relaxing time in January/12. The apartment is large and well furnished. We enjoyed the down filled sofas and the firm bed in the master bedroom. The few things that needed seeing to were quickly rectified by Tom. He is a very responsive landlord.
We took full advantage of the gym and spa that are part of the resort, joining for the month for a special winter price of 69 euros. It was definitely worth it! The swimming pool, steam bath and sauna are great. The gym, though small, has everything you need to keep fit and there are yoga, Pilates and aerobic salsa classes as well.
This is a beautiful part of the coast and it is worth seeing some of it. Once we had the schedule, we used the local bus to great advantage to visit the local towns. We highly recommend the train trip from Algeciras to Ronda--beautiful scenery that is inaccessible by road.
I traveled to southern Spain (Costa del Sol) in December 2011. I picked this place due to the cheap price for amenities, and overall the place was as advertised: a nice 2 bedroom, 2 bath apartment. Sleeping arrangement specifics: 1 queen bed and 2 twin beds plus a very large L couch that could sleep 2. Six college friends could make this a nice holiday home or one family of 4. Since I was traveling for a while, it was nice to have a washer/drier and kitchen to prepare meals and snacks for time on the beach.
The host provided very detailed instructions, direction, map, and was extremely responsive by email to my questions. I was impressed.
Some thoughts to be aware of: Malaga refers to both the city and the region; this place is not in or near the city. You will need a rental car (aka car hire) if you choose to come here. This place is not for backpackers who rely on public transit.
Note that there are two highways in this region connecting Malaga to Estepona: A-7 and AP-7. The P stands for "Pago" (Paid) which means it's a toll road. The tolls are pretty steep by American standards, but the non-toll A-7 road goes through the city centers and is slower by 20 minutes without traffic. You can avoid the toll if you always follow the A-7 sign, but during peak traffic you may way to pay to arrive on time.
The place is about a mile away from the beach and on the other side of a highway so you will need to drive everywhere. The free wifi is in the clubhouse, which is open during the day. Also note it's a good 40-60 min drive to Malaga the city, however, this part of Spain is one large resort area so you're always close to beaches, shopping, and grocery stores. You would only go to Malaga for specific sight-seeing or day trips. For many it's preferable to stay in this part of the costa del sol since it's less populated. It's possible to do day trips to Gibraltar and Sevilla from here as well.
