The Space

This is the place for those who want to stay in the city center, close to all attractions but hate the noise of a frenetic city like Rome. It is located on a quiet hill over viale Trastevere, a trendy area with bars, restaurants and historical sites.

The atmosphere feels very quiet and relaxed, but also close to the vibrant everyday life of Trastevere.

Completely renovated, it has a wooden floor all over the place, a spacious living room with a sofa that turns into a large for 2 people, a modern fully equipped kitchen, a bedroom with a large bed and a bathroom.

Entrance is at ground floor but there is another apartment below since it is on a hill. It was part of a loft before.
Available for free: two independent high-speed wi-fI internet connections, air conditioning, dish washer, large combi oven - convenction ventilated grill microwave, electric induction hob no gas, fridge & freezer, espresso machine, washing machine (in the laundry room of the our three apartments). Towels and bedsheets are provided to our guests (included in price).

The city center, bars and restaurants are in walking distance. An efficient tram takes directly to the heart of Rome (passes every 5 minutes, late in the evening included - 10 min. to Campidoglio).

Fast transportation from and to the airport, with a train every 15 min. connecting Trastevere station (500m away) to Fiumicino airport.

If you own a car you can park it directly on our private parking area (inside the property) within the limits of available space and if not available in the car parks nearby (free / not free).

In case of questions feel free to contact me.
Please read "House Rules" on the menu.
Note: 4 sleeping spaces, 2 in a real bed - width 160cm length 200cm - and 2 on a bed - width 140cm length 200cm - extracted from the sofa-bed.

  • Throughout my airbnb experiences, this is the apartment that least met my expectations!

    - Location is not central (Trastevere is a fairly large neighborhood and this apartment is to the end of it facing Rome metro area)
    - There is a steep uphill to get to the apartment on foot. About 50m
    - wifi signal is weak
    - AC is not working properly
    - There were works being carried out just outside the apartment. Very noisy in the morning even with closed windows

In my opinion it is a good pick if you can deal with the above. The apartment is definitely overpriced as I paid around 170 USD per night.

On a different note, Frederico is very responsive and detailed. They agreed to take us in with very short notice! Thanks for that.

    Response from Federico:

    My only unsatisfied guest.
The only one who wrote in his review: “ The apartment is definitely overpriced as I paid around 170 USD per night”.
In reality he paid EUR 110 per night for him and his two friends: three people.

  • This was exactly what I wanted in an apartment and experience - everything was convenient and easy. The 8 Tram was near by as well as shops and food. The apartment is large, open and quiet. I was met at the bottom of the hill and escorted up which was great as it could have been a tad confusing to find the first time.

  • Lovely apartment, even nicer than the photos, we stayed here for two night. The location was great, slightly out of the central city so away from the noise, but close enough to walk. Nice eating places and supermarkets nearby. The hosts were very friendly and helpful, someone was on sight when we arrived to help with luggage etc, and to let us know a bit about the local area. The booking process was very easy and Federico gave excellent clear instructions. This was one of the best places we stayed during a month long trip around europe.

About
I've traveled a lot and seen many different places. Rome is the city I love the most. Why? I love culture and authentic places. I don't like traffic and noisy, crowded places and therefore I consider my homes as oases surrounded by culture, nature and harmony. I am a tech entrepreneur living between Berlin and Rome. I am Co-Founder of 2 tech startups and I am director of a startup incubator in Rome. I like research and for this reason I am also doing a PhD with a focus on crowd-sourcing. In my free time I love traveling, surfing and painting.
