The space

This flat is about 80 sqm large and it's composed by bedroom, living room with sofa bed, kitchenette and bathroom.

Rome is an huge city. Hence, deciding where to stay can be quite confusing.

The flat is located half way on Trastevere Avenue, in a narrow street, without traffic of cars because closed at the end. It will make your stay relaxing and silent, and at the same time, you will get to the heart of the flourishing nightlife just walking 10 minutes.

The apartment has been recently renovated with modern furnitures and they are fully equipped: cookers, oven, microwave, fridge, freezer, coffee machine, pots, cutlery, plates and glasses. At your arrival you will find some coffee, tea and more. Towels and sheets are provided as well.

Wooden floor, large living room with dining table, double seater sofa and double sofa bed, bedroom with king size bed, kitchenette and bathroom with shower in each flat. Modern air conditioning system allow you to set the ideal temperature either during cold winter days or on hot summer days.

Entrance to the building is independent. The flat's floor is independent in the building and there I have my three apartments rented. If you like to rent two apartments, you can go from one flat to the other one through the main corridor and the flats' entrance doors (it isn't inside a direct door).

Parking, not included in the rent price, is available inside my property front the entrance door. You can park for free if the spots are available at your arrival and for all your stay. If the spots are busy you can park easily and free in my private street or in garage for a fee. So you have 3 possibilities to park safely the car.

Nearby, within walking distance all the services you need are available: banks, supermarkets, grocery stores, pharmacies, hairdressers, beauty center, gym and more.

Very centrally and conveniently located for getting into downtown and also not hard to get on to the ring road by car. Federico was very responsive with questions we had and max was very friendly and informative upon checking in. It is a very quiet apartment building that is well taken care of. I would recommend to anyone.

Great base to explore Rome! 10-15 min tram ride to the city (tram 150m from apartment) walking distance to restaurants and grocery shops, ample room with good facilities. They even offer one load of laundry all washed, dried and folded for you when you return from your day activities! Host and Hellers are fabulous not only with communication but check in/ check out and organising airport transfers. Highly recommended!

Host was nice, apartment is at top of hill so hard to get to with big bags. Apartment is good for about 3-4 people. Fuse blows all the time, when cooking, and even when not and you have to keep resetting, kind of a pain.

Response from Federico:
Hi Grace, it was great to have you as guest. The apartment, as you write, is absolutely for a maximum of 4 guests, as you can read and see on my Airbnb's web page. Your clarification is interesting for those who have doubts. I would like to do something to improve my apartment. Unfortunately I can't do anything because none of my guests has never complained about fuses or about climbing the hills with big luggages. It was a pleasure to have you and your friends as guests.

A return to Fredrico place was as excellent as our first visit. The hand over (done by his very polite dad) was so efficient. And similarly the hand back to Zobi was just as quick with no issues. The place was spotless and well stocked. Fredrico really goes out of his way to help his guests and was so accommodating with a request for a late checkout. I would definitely go back if in rome and will recommend it to all my friends.

Nice apartment - clean, spacious and air conditioned (essential in a Roman summer!), and about ten minutes’ walk to Trastevere’s bustling bars and restaurants. Very close to a tram / bus stop so you can be in central Rome in 10-15 mins, otherwise it’s a 30 minute walk. If you’re bringing a car, the free parking space is on a safe, private driveway. It’s on a bit of a slope but don’t be tempted to make the mistake we did and park on the street instead, because it’s very narrow and your car might suffer a scratch or two! Good communication from the owner (or, if he’s away, his father).

I've traveled a lot and seen many different places. Rome is the city I love the most. Why? I love culture and authentic places. I don't like traffic and noisy, crowded places and therefore I consider my homes as oases surrounded by culture, nature and harmony.

I am a tech entrepreneur living between London and Rome. I am Co-Founder of 2 tech startups and I am director of a startup incubator in Rome. I like research and for this reason I am also doing a PhD with a focus on crowd-sourcing.

In my free time I love traveling, surfing and painting.
