This is the place for those who want to stay in the city center, close to all attractions but hate the noise of a frenetic city like Rome. It is located on a quiet hill over viale Trastevere, a trendy area with bars, restaurants and historical sites.
The atmosphere feels very quiet and relaxed, but also close to the vibrant everyday life of Trastevere.
Completely renovated, it has a wooden floor all over the place, a spacious living room with a sofa that turns into a large for 2 people, a modern fully equipped kitchen, a bedroom with a large bed and a bathroom.
Entrance is at ground floor but there is another apartment below since it is on a hill. It was part of a loft before.
Available for free: two independent high-speed wi-fI internet connections, air conditioning, dish washer, large electric combi oven + grill & microwave, electric induction hob no gas, fridge & freezer, espresso machine, washing machine (in the laundry room of the our three apartments). Towels and bedsheets are provided to our guests (included in price).
The city center, bars and restaurants are in walking distance. An efficient tram takes directly to the heart of Rome (passes every 5 minutes, late in the evening included - 10 min. to Campidoglio).
Fast transportation from and to the airport, with a train every 15 min. connecting Trastevere station (500m away) to Fiumicino airport.
If you own a car you can park it directly on our private parking area (inside the property) within the limits of available space and if not available in the car parks nearby (free / not free).

Federico's place in Trastevere is very well appointed and homey. The A/C was amazing, which is very important! Federico was unable to meet us there in person, but his assistant Tomasso was there. Even thought the washer was broken during our stay, Tomasso took a bag of our laundry to have a service wash it for us, that was amazing service.
The place is on the edge of Trastevere, but very easy to commute to/from with the tram and buses. There were no issues coming and going from the place. The walk up the hill from the bottom takes about 5 minutes, but its not a bad way to work off the pasta! Overall, we felt like we were at home and it was really comfortable to be there.
Extremely modern, clean, and well-equipped - in an amazing neighborhood.
Federico's staff (didn't have a chance to meet him) was kind and helpful. Recommended.
We had a great time in Rome! The apartment (C) is very nice and clean. Tram 8 to the city is nearby, just walk down the hill.
Federico, his father en the staff are very nice and helpfull. Communicate with them is very easy by phone or textmessages. We want to thank them to make us feel welcome!
We will recommand the apartment to other people!
My girlfriend and I had a top stay here - if you want a great stay in Rome then look no further.
The apartment itself was simply amazing, both modern and spacious, with a great location (so much so we were happy to walk everywhere without the need for public transport). You can easily walk to the Rome old town / center within 25 mins and the Vatican is 55 mins.
There are lots of nice restaurants and local bars in the Trastevere area (especially in the side streets before you get to the bridge) and rest assured the apartment is a 10 mins walk away from this, so don't worry about any noise issues as the apartment is tucked away nicely (whilst remaining convenient).
Admin side was smooth as can be, very well organised by Frederico and always on the end of a message if needed.
He also provided tea, coffee, croissants, jam, milk and water so we had the essentials on hand, along with an overview of local details (supermarkets, restaurants, pharmacy, map, general directions, transport etc.)
A credit to Airbnb.
My sister and I stayed for two nights in Frederico's apartment in Trastevere. Frederico was out of town but another man, Sharif, met my sister and I helped us with our bags into the gorgeous apartment. There we had found helpful information for us (places to eat and stay, phone numbers, maps) as well as juice and some food. The neighborhood itself is absolutely lovely! Walking from Trastevere into Rome proper is a great way to get a feel of the neighborhood. The best meal we had in Rome was at a place in Trastevere. Wonderful apartment to stay in if you are looking for a more authentic experience in Italy.

About the Host, Federico
I've traveled a lot and seen many different places. Rome is the city I love the most. Why? I love culture and authentic places. I don't like traffic and noisy, crowded places and therefore I consider my homes as oases surrounded by culture, nature and harmony.
I am a tech entrepreneur living between London and Rome. I am Co-Founder of 2 tech startups and I am director of a startup incubator in Rome. I like research and for this reason I am also doing a PhD with a focus on crowd-sourcing.
In my free time I love traveling, surfing and painting.
