  • Corry's apartment was ideal for us as we were in Cologne for an Exhibition weekend. when we arrived, her husband showed us around the neighborhood and gave us a few tips. The apartment is just off a main shopping road with everything you need, and only 10 minutes walk from the Exhibition Center or a beautiful walk to the City Center. The apartment was clean and had everything we needed. They had left lots of treats there for us, and my husband and I came home a few nights tired and hungry, and that really helped. I also forgot my adaptor for my computer, but they even had that in the house. They also were sweet enough to leave maps so we knew where we were and how to get to where we needed to.

I would recommend this apartment to anyone who wants to visit Cologne, but especially to those who are visiting for Exhibition weekends.

  • Wow what a lovely place! I booked this for two colleagues who were working at the Koln Messe (exhibition hall) and they really enjoyed their stay. Clean, comfortable, inviting and well equipped (wifi was fast). Thanks to Corry for her kind ways and attention to detail. I would advise anyone to stay here. Round the corner and up the street there are shops and pubs with a welcoming local atmosphere. I had a hard job bringing my colleagues home as they have now fallen in love with Germany. Thanks again and to all those out there you will love your stay here. Sam

  • Cory's apartment was great for us as we were on a business trip and it was close to the Koln Messe. Apart from that it was in a great position for cafes, bakeries, pubs and restaurants. The apartment itself was very clean and had everything we needed, including a great coffee machine. Cory also left us a bottle of wine, chocolates and a beautiful vase of fresh tulips, which lasted nearly all of our stay. What more can I say, I would highly recommend the apartment and our hosts. Thank you.

  • Corry was waiting for us at the door upon our arrival. The flat was smaller than we thought but served its purpose nicely. A bottle of red wine and cookies were waiting for us which was a very nice touch. The bed was not as comfortable as we would have liked but as mentioned it served its purpose. The location was great. We had everything within walking distance from us. The tram was a 5 minute walk or you could walk over the bridge to the old part of the city. It was very nice to hear the church bells which are around the corner. If you prefer a quiet and nicely situated flat, this is it for you.

  • We visited Cologne to see the christmas markets and had a great time! The apartment was in a really good location to be able to walk into the city centre. There was also good easy to use public transport very close for the lazy days!

Corry was a great Host and left us with wine, cookies and a map of the area. We felt very happy and safe in the apartment and made good use of the lovely quiet coffee shop on the corner. There were also good shops a stones throw away to pick up a few groceries etc.

We would definitely be happy to stay here again!

  • Corry and Robert's flat was a wonderful haven in a nice neighbourhood in Cologne. I was especially impressed to see that they'd arranged a few provisions including tea and juice. The apartment was very clean, secure and comfortable. The wifi was super fast, which is so important when travelling. I met Robert who was so lovely and helpful in giving directions. I highly recommend their place when staying in Cologne.

  • We had a wonderful time in Cologne and it was largely because of Corry's absolutely lovely apartment. It was a perfect size for us traveling as a young couple (and the bathroom is especially nice!). We came to Cologne for the start of the Christmas markets and found that the flat was not only comfortable and well furnished but supplied with everything we could possibly want for our stay (shampoo, complimentary juice and champagne! (thank you Corry!) hairdryer, towels, blankets and much more.)

The apartment is in a beautiful listed building and is very easy to find from the local station. We walked everywhere too as it's so close to the centre and lovely authentic local German eateries and Kolsch bars. But when we couldn't eat out we would bring back food from one of the local supermarkets and eat in the apartment.

Frankly we'd come back in a second if we could!

I cannot recommend Corry's apartment more. The only very small issue we had was that it can be quite noisy outside the flat from about 6:00am or so, mostly shutters opening and closing and people making deliveries. As I'm a light sleeper I travel with ear plugs and had no issue whilst my partner slept like a log through it so if you're a light sleeper like me then bring some ear plugs and you'll be perfectly fine. It was a small price to pay for the wonderful comfort and location of the apartment.

    Thanks again Corry.

My husband and I have recently moved to Cologne to help babysit our grandson. In our spare time, we teach English to professionals, pre-school children, and senior citizens. (The first profile picture shows me (in the middle) with my daugther Helen (right), sister Lizzy (left), cousin Christine and baby Enda. The second profile picture shows Enda with my husband Robert (right) and son-in-law Fergal.)The 3rd picture shows Enda in Oct 2012.With him being Irish we are having a hell of a job keeping him away from the beer. We live just round the corner (on the next block) so can be at the apartment very quickly to hand over the keys to new guests. Just phone us or send an SMS when you arrive in Cologne and we will be waiting for you to help with your luggage. We will not bother you during your stay and you can come and go as you please but we will be there if you need us We both speak English, German and Franglais and will do our best to make you feel comfortable.
