The space
Come and stay with us in our beautiful house!

Villa Carlotta is a wonderful example of Italian stonemasonry, completed in 1908, and featuring both art nouveau and early art deco styles.

You will have a bright, airy, 70 sq metre apartment just for you.
A huge bedroom and an equally large living/dining space with a proper kitchen.

5m high vaulted ceilings and french windows onto a small private balcony ensure a pleasant stay in summer.

The bedroom features a large double bed, and a single bed, with plenty of space for both. All mattresses are high quality and very comfortable.

We also offer a lovely cot for small children, and a sofabed in the living room, should you require more than 3 spaces.

Where you’ll be

Putignano, Puglia, Italy, Italy

Putignano is best known for its Carnevale. Supposedly the oldest and longest in Europe.
It runs for a whole month around February, and again at a smaller scale in August.
It features spectacular floats (some 4 stories high!) produced locally with papier mache.

It also boasts a beautiful cave. Less famous and much smaller than the ones down the road in Castellana, but spectacular all the same.

It has several excellent restaurants, and an abundance of good pizza.
There is a local "Cantina" which sells delicious wine very cheap.

We provide a guest pack on arrival, with suggestions for eating, visiting and shopping. We can also direct you to local producers of Organic food.
