Raphael was a wonderful host! Not only were the pictures of his apartment accurate, but so was the description! Raphael was not only consistent in reaching out but also made very clear instructions regarding all the "need-to-know" information. His place is very clean and well-kept. Not to mention, the view is awesome! The bathroom was very nice too! Honestly, I could not have asked for a better place to stay. Located in Central, his apartment is grants you quick access to all of the fun and hot spots! For foodies, his apartment is wonderful because it is next to a street chock-full of exquisite restaurants! Most importantly, the price was affordable. If you want to visit HK or any other place that Raphael happens to rent-out, then I would highly suggest you send him a message! Thanks again Raphael!
Raphael is a great communicator and his apartment is sweet and in a great location for access to Hong Kong University (1 stop), Bonham Road (5 minutes walk) and any part of central Hong Kong is within 2-4 MTR stops or 30-40HKD taxi. There are a ton of boutique restaurants and at night a lot of bars in which expats socialise. The apartment has a great view as in the pictures and is of good size for Hong Kong. Shower and kitchen work fine and there is a (website hidden), double bed and camping mattress I was provided for my daughter who came to stay. Raphael sent a key by airmail to my home so all I needed to do was follow the detailed instructions and let myself in. Raphael followed up to make sure everything was alright and also on day of checkout with helpful reminders of how to check out. Best AirBnB experience so far.
Great location, wonderful apartment, very friendly host. Highly recommended!
Instructions to the apartment was clear and precise. The house manual is very useful as well. apartment looks exactly like the photos on the website, clean tidy and a really awesome view from the window. Definitely will stay there again if I have a chance. Thanks Raphael!
The apartment is accurately portrayed in the advertisement. It is in a handy position for restaurants, transport and sight seeing.
Raphael was easy to contact and answered emails promptly.
We did not meet Raphael personally but arrangements previously made for handover of the apartment went smoothly.
Safe area, felt safe all over HK actually. Plenty of convenience stores and restaurants around. The neighborhood is away from the busy Sheung Wan or central, but it's close to bus stops, trams, and taxis. The MTR station opening just a block away will be convenient for future visitors, open in 'early 2015'. The room is just as described. Simple but adequate. Nice view from the 29th floor. Raphael is very accommodating, easy to reach if we had any questions prior to and during our stay.
I had the best stay at Raphael's place. Located at Sai Ying Pun, it was an easy tram ride away to Sheung Wan MTR station, which is on HK island side. There will be a new MTR station which will be opening up for Sai Ying Pun which will make this place even more convenient. Raphael was very quick and responsive with his replies, and gave me the assurance I needed all the way through my trip. The place is exactly like the photos, and lots of great restaurants down the bottom of Centre Street. I loved this place as it got to show me an area of where normal HK people live, eat and shop, and it was close to the important areas for me like LKF, Causeway Bay, Central, Wan Chai, plus it is very easy to transfer to the other island of TST and Mongkok. The place is also very close to the Hong Kong MTR station where the Airport Express is located, which made it so easy to get to/from his place. Having been to Hong Kong 5 times now, I can say that Raphael's place is a great place to stay, with better value than some hotels in HK, and with more space as well. I will definitely stay here again on my next trip!
