Trastevere is the very heart of Rome and the Suite Trilussa is situated right at the centre of this heart. Located in a highly characteristic, period palazzo, completely renovated, it offers everything that guests looking for an exclusive, comfortable, harmonious and sophisticated stay could wish for.The entire apartment is at the disposal of guests at the Suite Trilussa for the entire duration of their stay, fitted out with all the comforts you may desire.
A cutting edge air conditioning system keeps our guests warm in the cold winter months and cool in the hot summers enjoyed in Rome every year.
In order to wind down after a busy day visiting the cultural sights and attractions the city has to offer, what could be better than relaxing in front of a film on a LCD TV whilst sipping a refreshing drink from the minibar.
Guests may also chose to rustle up a meal at home in the kitchen corner which is fitted out with everything you might need (hob, work surface, plates and cutlery, sink, oven, espresso coffee making machine and toaster).
- Apt very central location (right across the bridge).
- Clean, comfy, spacious, and good for 4 ppl.
- Host was very friendly; we arrived late and she waited to greet us with a bottle of prosecco and pastries.
- Provided nice amenities including teas, jams, and most importantly, Nespresso coffee.
- Kitchen is nicely furnished. There are a couple supermarkets (Despar, Incoop) right across the bridge to get cooking supplies.
- Active night life nearby, especially Friday nights (it's like a new years eve party outside your door)
- Trilussa Village, open during the summer is very nice and fun
We stayed at Daniella's flat during the second week of June 2014. Daniella helped us arrange a driver from the airport who delivered us to her place at Piazza Trilussa. She met us there, showed us everything we needed to know about the place and even brought us some prosecco to help celebrate our anniversary.
We thought the location was ideal. On one side you have the Vatican and Castel Sant'Angelo, on another the Forum and Colosseum while just over the Ponte Sisto you will Campo de' Fiori and Piazza Navona / Pantheon / Trevi Fountain. All of those are within a 30 minute walk. Only the Spanish Steps and the Borghese gallery were significantly further.
The flat is comfortable and Trastevere is an amazing and charming area filled with shops and restaurants. We absolutely loved it. The 2 downsides are that the area can be quite noisy late at night and especially weekends and that the flat really doesn't have much in the way of natural light. We knew that beforehand though and only one night, our first, was especially noisy.
Thank you Daniella for hosting us and a memorable part of our trip.
Although our contact was only via text message, Daniela was really helpfull. The location was abolutely great! The apartment was a bit dark because there was only one window which was blocked for the main part by another door. That made the apartment also a bit damp.
We stayed at Piazza Trilussa from May 18-22 2014. This is a great location, it's a lovely apartment and Daniela is a fabulous host.
Daniela provided helpful details on how to get to the apartment and met us there. Our daughter joined us at short notice and Daniella was very accommodating Piazza Trilussa was great for restaurants and easy walking distance to most of the sites we wanted to see. It was lovely to come back after a long day of sightseeing and go out for a delicious, reasonably priced meal close by. The apartment is very well equipped, very comfortable and exceeded our expectations A big thank you to Danielle for a very enjoyable stay.
Our overall experience was good. We arranged with Daniela to provide a driver to pick us up at the airport, and he was there as arranged. Daniela greeted us at the apartment and gave us a quick overview of the apartment.
She also gave us accurate information about the somewhat loud party atmosphere. We used earplugs and it was not a problem.
The location is great. We were able to walk to the Colliseum, Vatican, Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps and Pantheon.
Bellissimo appartamento come nelle foto. Molto pulito. Daniela é stata super con i suoi consigli. Ti fa trovare un kit per la colazione, tutto gratis. Trastevere é il quartiere più tipico di Roma e la sera é molto vivace, ma nella suite si dorme bene perché il letto é veramente comodo . Consiglio vivamente.
Suite Trilussa is where the action is--Trastevere is an authentic Roman neighborhood with lots going on well into the night. Between the restaurants, shops, bars, and people hanging around having a good time, it is a busy and interesting place.
Daniela was very helpful leading up to our visit with some specific advice on transportation and help with setting up an airport transfer (she arranged a car and driver to meet us at a specific time, and they were very prompt). She met us when promised and gave us a quick tour of the apartment, which was clean and looked just like the photos in person.
Suite Trilussa was a good convenient distance from all the main sights we wanted to see, and we walked everywhere--the first night we did a walking tour of the city, including numerous churches, Piazza Navona, the Pantheon, Trevi Fountain, Campo de Fiori, Capitoline Hill, etc. which was easy to reach by foot. The second day we walked about 20 minutes to the Vatican, and the third about 20-30 minutes to Palatine Hill/The Roman Forum/Colosseum. We had a great meal at the Taverna Trilussa, about 3 minutes walk from the apartment--I highly recommend it.
Others have mentioned the noise--it could be a factor for people who are used to quiet. The location is right in the heart of the district, and there were people milling about on the street just outside the doors until 2-3 am each night we were there. The other reviews mentioned the noise, so we were aware of it before we got there. If there is a drawback to this place, that is it, although that's out of Daniela's control.
Overall though, the location was great, Daniela was helpful and prompt, and the apartment was clean and had a fun vibe.
A Localização do apartamento e excelente. O bairro de Trastevere e extremamente animado, com muitas opções de pubs, restaurantes e barzinhos. E possível ir caminhando para a maior parte das atrações. O apartamento e super aconchegante e tem o necessário para uma boa estada. O sofá cama e a cama sao confortáveis. Recomendo.
This was a great experience. The location is just wonderful - walking distance to everything you could want for a few days in Rome, and in a beautiful, very bustling part of the city itself. Daniela was a good host - very prompt in all online communication, helpful and reliable - she let us leave our bags there on the last day and then helped us to a taxi afterwards. I would certainly stay there again, thank you Daniela!
