Hostel Kaiken is situated right at a popular trail head but is across town from the bus station. Each room has 4 beds (2 bunks) and there are 2 bathrooms all within a relatively small space. Miguel is very welcoming and helpful. Expect your typical hostel situation where the down…

Hostel Kaiken was a small and comfortable hostel with a great location in El Chalten. We were able to meet many great people from around the world during our stay and the hosts were kind and helpful with all of our questions. Highly recommend!

This is a nice little hostel right across from the Torre trailhead. A little more homey than the main Hostels in town, but still quite nice and a bit cheaper. Martin (the host) doesn't speak much English, so brush up on your Spanish Gringoes : ). He is however a really nice guy …
