The exact adress is :
Villa Surya Abadi,
Like others said before it was very hard to find the place. Once we arrived there everything looked very nice on first sight, if you take a second look, you notice that everything is kinda run down and not well taken care of.
There's not really any staff that speaks English well enough to understand you, so your on your own with most upcoming questions.
Also the food situation is not really satisfying. When you order food in the restaurant that's part of the airbnb, everything you order comes in big styrofoam containers, not very smart in a country that already has a huge trash problem...
We stayed in the only bungalow at the grounds, which we were exited about in the beginning, it's very beautiful, but unfortunately also extremely loud in the evening when others are in the communal area or by the pool you can hear every word... There was no mosquito net, which would have been very useful.
Anyways, overall we had a good time at Morgan's place, unfortunately we never met her though, and also didn't receive a response from her when sending her a message.
The property is in a good location, when you rent a scooter it's easy to get to a lot of il interesting places...
Oh, and the rice field, there is no rice field, it's more of a construction site and waste dump that you look at from the hotel, rather than the nice rice field view that we were promised...
It was a good experience staying at Morgan's place. I am impressed with the Balinese style of the bungalow though I had a very hard time sleeping because of the noise surrounding the area.
For the first night I could hear a group of guys loudly singing from the neighbours and same for the second night, a loud blasting of rock music was heard from my room.. Morgan's suggestion of taking the driver made my arrival in the villa hassle-free because I noticed that a lot of drivers don't know the place. Btw the rice paddies are no longer there.. It is being developed now. I didn't had a chance to eat breakfast there because of the timings they serve so late!(8am).. By the time, I need to go out for the tour. And I think it is also a must if at least one of the caretakers can speak English because at times Madi couldn't understand me. Luckily,I can even speak little bit of Bahasa. Overall, the place is old and not so maintained now.
P.S. You must ask Morgan which bungalow you are staying because there is more than one "Villa Surya Abadi" around the area and nearby.
Although we never actually met Morgan, we really enjoyed our stay in her bungalow, so would definitely recommend.
The place was quite hard to find even with GPS, but after 2nd attempt (Villa of a same name) we found it. The looks are just as on the pictures, pool is beautiful, room cozy and clean. Staff is very helpful and hardworking. We also appreciated the included breakfast and reliable wi-fi. The bar has reasonable prices ( large Bintang 32K Rp). The only thing that needed a little upgrade was the bathroom -very basic and too private. Overally, would stay again! And by the way, loved the dog:)
