My apt is located in San Borja, 20 minutes from Miraflores. It's a nice neighborhood, 4 blocks from the busstop and 3 blocks from a streetmarket where you can find fresh fruits & meat. The room includes wifi, a private bathroom and a view of the park.
While you chill out you can listen some jazz, soul and rock. Yes you can also listen to peruvian music (música criolla, valses, festejo, landó, huayno).
I host for days, weeks and months (check the spetial monthly rate!). It's a very comfortable and private place next to the park. It has a cozy living room with a bar area with a chilled out atmosphere. The room has a half size bed, a sofa-bed and wifi.
Guests can use wi-fi, the kitchen and do the loundry. Eventually i rent a second room to airbnb guests with good references.
Interaction with Guests
I enjoy chating with the guest and giving some personalized recommendations about the best way to enjoy my city.
I love to have the park next to the building. It is a save neighborhood, 4 blocks from a local market an 6 blocks from a supermarket and 15 minutes walking from two shopping malls. Close to my apt there is a "polideportivo" with swimming pools, a track field, and several basketball and soccer courts were you can exercise. From monday to friday in the morning (8 to 9 am) there is a little traffic outside the building but after that it's cool.
The public transportation is 4 blocks from my place, in Angamos Ave. There are also a lot of taxis that take you to Miraflores downtown for a few dollars (3 dollars more less).
Other Things to Note
If you come from the airport: my apt is 30 minutes from the airport, when there is no traffic (11pm to 7am). During rush hours, it can take one hour more less.
About the transportation from the airport: there are just taxis (local buses 'd be really uncomfortable when you carry luggage). 1) Inside the airport they can charge you a lot ($50) from airport to San Borja. 2) If you got internet, it's better to upload taxi satelital or easytaxi and ask them to pick you up (around $20 or 55 soles) . 3) Other possibility is that you buy a sim card in the airport and call taxi satelital (you can search the web and phone number on internet). 4) There is a company just in the lobby called Green Taxi that have fixed prices (again, to San Borja it would be 55 soles (US$20).
There is a person who cleans the apt twice a month so, in the meantime, i clean my room and expect that guest cleans its own room when it's necessary.
Some more rules:
•Smoking is not allowed inside the apt (but there's a big park close for smokers) . If something is broken i expect they tell me about the incident to see how we can work it out. Finally, if they lose the keys, they have to pay $20.
• The responsible consumption of alcoholic beverages is fine but inebriated behavior due to the excessive consumption of alcohol is not acceptable, and could result with the guest being asked to leave with no refunds.
• The consumption of illegal drugs is not allowed, and the guest will be asked to leave immediately with no refunds if he/she doesn't follow this rule.
Vanessa é uma pessoa incrível, super atenciosa e receptiva seu apartamento é todo limpo e bem aconchegante recomendo a todos do airbnb que queiram conhecer Lima, fez uma chicha morada espetacular. Espero que possamos nos ver novamente
It was great experience with Vanessa's house.
The house was very clean and close host was very kind. I arrived there around 3 AM due to the flight delay, But the host still welcomed us. She drew a map and introduced trip around Lima and it was very useful. Her recommended restaurant was great. She answered our text very quickly. She also called us tax upon leaving. We definitly will stay there again if we go Lima.
Vanessa was very welcoming and accommodating from the very beginning. She helped me get oriented in the neighbourhood, provided lots of great tips about getting around Lima and was just a delight to talk with. The room was super bright and lovely and Vanessa went out of her way to make sure I felt comfortable in the apartment in general. I could not have asked for a better host while I was in Lima. Thank you Vanessa!
Vanessa is a wonderful and very generous host. From the first moment we felt really welcomed. Vanessa is a very interesting person and very knowledgeable about her country. She directed us to all cool spots that are in her neighbourhood and around Lima. The place itself was cozy and in a convenient location - grocery stores, local fresh food market and local cuisine were within a walking distance. Other neighbourhoods with night life and local attractions were reachable by taxi or bus (10-15 mins). In summary...........the best introduction to Peru. We had an awesome time in Lima!!!!
La estancia fué perfecta. Un departamento muy amplio, con una anfitriona que hará tu visita a la ciudad fantástica.
Todo es muy limpio, acogedor, bien cuidado y decorado, y la habitación es muy espaciosa.
I only stayed one night and wished I stayed longer! Vanessa is a wonderful host... I had such a wonderful vibe from her (Even though she was sick, she made sure I was taken care of every step of the way.)
Everything is as advertised. I totally recommend staying at her apartment!

I love to find peculiar details from the cities I visit and photograph them when it's possible. I appreciate when I meet a good storyteller or someone who has found his o her passion. During a travel I usually search for local markets and eat some regional meal. I enjoy when i hear a good quote from an ongoing conversation in the street.
I enjoy to travel light and i appreciate openminded people. As a host, i think i have the complex of a tourguide or something. Think i'm kind of helpfull.
