You'll enjoy two bedrooms, one large one smaller, both with comfortable beds. We have a twin blow-up mattress if needed, so it can sleep four. The kitchen has everything you need to cook (just add organic local food from the farmer's market!) The spacious living room and dining area make this a perfect place to base a trip to NYC!
You'll have your own keys to the front door up the stoop and the top floor all to yourself.
We live on the bottom two floors and are available for questions and local tips. We will usually be around during your stay, but the place is all yours.
Park Slope has got it all. Restaurants, happy adults, happy children. Unique stores. Wine bars, beer bars. Trees and parks. And transportation to the rest of NYC if you get tired of all that!
The R train is 10 minutes away which will connect you to all the subway lines in one stop.
We have a pack and play, an travel stroller and a few toys.
Linens, towels, soap, shampoo and a hairdrier supplied. Three night minimum and no smoking and no pets, please.
A $100 deposit is required. And we have a $75 cleaning fee for each reservation.
Jean and Ben were very welcoming. The apartment is ideal for a visiting family. There were very few personal items around so the space seemed just as much ours as it did theirs. The fact that there was no T.V. in the house was an added bonus. The environment was very conducive to bringing the family back together, not to mention stunningly gorgeous.
We could not have asked for nicer place to stay. Centrally located, so close to Prospect Park and Barclays Center, and a safe, comfortable neighborhood. There was plenty of room for my wife, fourteen year old daughter (who somehow takes up a lot of space) and me to spread out. All of the comforts of home PLUS wonderful welcoming cookies and bagels from the sweetest owners in Brooklyn. We can't wait to stay again in the summer when we can hang on the stoops with the neighboors.
Our stay in Jean and Ben's Brooklyn apartment was lovely and we couldn't have asked for anything more. The apartment was warm, comfortable, clean and filled with natural light. Jean and Ben are extremely thoughtful in what they provide for guests and were incredibly gracious hosts to my near 1-year old providing a pack-n-play and all sorts of toys. Our trip coincided with a big snow storm which we were able to enjoy/appreciate from the apartment's beautiful bay windows. We will surely return and hope to stay again.
We stayed in Jean and Ben's third floor apartment for six nights. The apartment is located right in the middle of Park Slope so you can walk to everything. Jean is an excellent communicator. If you have questions they will be answered; if you don't that is fine also. There were bagels, cream cheese, and cookies when we arrived. The apartment is extremely quiet and clean. Everything is really as described and as pictured. We were there during really cold weather and apartment was well heated.

This is a great location and a great apartment. Jean and Ben were fantastic hosts and thought of everything, and were also more than happy to help us out when we needed things at the last minute (extra blankets etc). We loved staying here and hope to come back someday!
Thanks again Jean and Ben!
My 20 year old daughter and I had a wonderful stay in Jean's apartment. Everything was as described and more! Jean was out of town on our arrival day but had a friend greet us and give us very helpful tips for exploring NYC. We were delighted with the bagels and delicious cookies on the table, milk and cream cheese in the frig, coffee and tea in the cupboard. The apartment was well supplied, clean and very comfortable. Jean responded quickly to our inquiries before and during our stay with very helpful information. We felt very safe on the 10 minute walk to and from the subway, even late at night. It's a lovely neighborhood.
My parents stayed in Jean's place for several nights and had a great time-everything was easy to arrange, the place was clean and really lovely, and communication with Jean was great. It was nice and close to the park and lots of restaurants and I would definitely recommend!
My husband Ben and I have four children, and a friendly Portuguese water dog. We love this neighborhood, especially the park and the restaurants!
