Welcome to The Beautiful Mountain Riad,
To help make everyone's stay the best I just ask that people are respectful of others staying at the riad and leave the riad how they find it.
Please wash up and clean the kitchen after cooking to stop any insect problems.
You will find supplies for breakfast on the top shelf inside the fridge this shelf is for everyone. Please feel free to leave your food on any other shelf and don't eat others food.
If you leave food on the top shelf it may well be eaten by others!!!
It would be a great help if you have a car if you could take any full dustbin bags to the dustbins in Taghazout on your way out as there is no refuse collection in the mountains. :)
This is Africa so please be careful with the water, please try not to leave taps running and take short showers.
There is a washing machine available at the riad please ask if you would like to use it. There is a 40 Dirham charge per wash.
If you need any help with anything or you have any questions during your stay please do not hesitate to ask I am always happy to help.
Hope You enjoy your stay !!
Let's make it short: if you look for the perfect place near Agadir or if you are on a surf trip to Taghazout - THIS IS THE PLACE TO BE!!!! It is like an oasis in the slightly touristic "town" of Taghazout. One reason might be that it is up the hill and so silent - it is paradise.
Sam is also the best host you can imagine - whenever you need something he will organize it for you. Sylvi (I hope I wrote it correctly) is an amazing cook and already in the morning after the breakfast you are looking forward to dinner because everything is so delicious.
Thanks for a great time, guys!
First of all I want to say thank you Sylvie and Sam for the perfect week at your riad. The riad is so nice and peaceful. We fully enjoyed our stay. The dinner was incredible delicious. If we're coming again to morrocco then definitely to your place. Your're more than welcome to be our guests in Berlin. All the best, Nina
A truly enjoyable experience! Perfect place to relax and stay just outside of Taghazout. We had a great time, thanks :)
Me and my boyfriend stayed at Sam's house for a week, and it was all we could wish for and more. Sam and Silvi are amazing hosts and made our stay really nice and convenient. They are both very warm and lovely people and made everyone feel right at home in the riad. Every morning we got served breakfast and together with the other guests we started the day gathered in the beautiful Moroccan garden. After a week we almost felt like a little family. The house is even more beautiful in reality than in the pictures. It is a very quiet and relaxing place and you are surrounded by beautiful nature in the mountins. We took lovely walks there surronded by argan trees, donkeys and goats. We were looking for a genuine Moroccan expreience and really feel that we got away from the touristy parts. Taghazout is a small village but super nice and everyone is so friendly.
Sam and Silvi hooked us up with an amazing surf instructor that not just taught us A LOT on the waves, but took good care of us, showed us local spots and took us to the local market in Banana Village which was such a cool experience. Every night at the house we got to do yoga with a lovely instructor, which made our stay even more relaxing.
We did not have a car for this trip, but never felt that was a big of a problem. Either we took a walk down the beautiful mountins to get to the village, or we could just ask Sam and Silvi or our friends at the house for a ride down. Taxis are also available and does not cost much. Just say you are going to "Sam's house" and the driver will know where to go. If you want to be able to get around to different surf spots and places we would recommend a car though.
If you are looking for a beautiful and relaxing place to spend your vacation, this is the place. We also liked Taghazout and the surf was really good. We really loved and enjoyed our stay at the riad, and are definetely coming back in the future!
Thank you Sam and Silvi, for everything, and for making our stay this nice. See you soon! All the best, Denise and Viktor.

About the Host, Sam
Im originally from the north of England .
I came to morocco the first time 11 years ago and fell in love. Then 5 years ago I returned for a 5 week holiday and after 2 weeks i rented a house for a year and decided to stay. five years later im still here Having spent 4 years living in Taghazout I longed for something a bit more traditional and less touristy and then found a run down riad in Ait bihi 2.9km into the mountains behind Taghazout and after spending the last 11 months renovating my Riad it has now become the hidden gem just outside Taghazout.
With my years of experience in morocco I can show you the hidden beauty of Morocco and make sure you have a stay to remember.
Your here for a good time not a long time ;)
