Our best airbnb experience so far! Dubravka is a great host, she picked us up at the port and she had prepared some food for us. The flat is clean and has everything you need. The view on the sea is amazing. It is only 10 min walking from the old city. If I came back to korcula I would go again to Dubravka' flat.
Dubravka and her husband were the best hosts ! They had enough English so we could communicate well enough. They transferred us to and from the ferries . We arrived in the evening and they thoughtfully prepared a platter of sausages and cheese . Wine and some of Alberto's first batch of limoncello.......it was lovely.
The apartment was impeccable . Clean and modern.
I strongly recommend this place as a base to explore korcula.
Dubravka was an absolutely lovely person. She met us at the ferry terminal. We followed her in our car to her apartment where she explained the facilities available to us and parking of our vehicle.
She had made us a lovely platter of snacks and sweets. The location is very convenient to the Old town with a very short walk. A beautiful view from every room in the apartment. Will definitely return.
Where do we start?! From beginning to end this was one of our best experiences on AirBnB. So welcoming, went over and above what's asked from hosts. Stocked fridge, local treats and an unbelievable location. We had an amazing week and can't wait to return!
Dubravka and Roberto were fantastic! They were kind enough to greet us at the bus station and even prepared a snack of cold cuts, local wine and homemade cookies for our arrival. We really felt welcomed in Korcula City. The apartment is as good or better than in the listing and has all the amenities you will require as Dubravka and Roberto used to live there. We were in Korcula in a cold and rainy spring day so we almost had the old town to ourself, but after experiencing the hordes of Dubrovnik we are missing the April solitude of Korcula. The apartment is just down a few flights of steps and then a nice walk along the marina to get to the old city (approx. 5-10 minutes). Recommend Korcula if you are interested in wine tasting and visiting a quaint midieval town.
Dubravka and her family are amazingly kind and generous people. Like everyone else said she met us at the port upon arrival and drove us to the apartment which was lovely. There was a cheese and meat plate, wine and cake waiting for us at the apartment. Unfortunately we did not get to stay long because a storm had taken out the wifi which we needed for work. Dubravka made every attempt to accommodate us and offered to move is to another nearby apartment. The second apartment was even bigger with a huge terrace (and wifi) and we spent the next three days there. After finding out there were no busses running on the day we were scheduled to leave because of a holiday, Dubravka offered to let us stay an extra night at no charge! What an amazing host! When it was time to leave Dubravka picked us up and drove us to the bus station and made sure we got on the right bus to Dubrovnik. Our whole experience was amazing even with the wifi issue. I don't know what anyone could do to be better hosts than Dubravka and her family.
