About this listing
Our quiet, spacious apartment has amazing NYC & Hudson River views! The photo of the views was taken from inside the apt. It is a beautiful, large 3 bedroom: separate living room, dining room and kitchen.
Amazing NYC and Water Views From Inside the apartment. This is only part of the incredible view from the Living Room and Dining Room!
The space is unique because you have incredible NYC, water and sky views in a large apartment that also has a backyard and is quiet but is still very close to all of the excitement of NYC. Just 10 mins from Midtown Manhattan.
Free Internet Wifi and Cable TV.
Guests also have access to a front out door porch with big NYC views, a backyard and free washer and dryer.
Street parking is available. Parking passes cost $3.50 per 24 hours. The machine where you can get the parking passes is accessible 24 hours a day and located 3 minutes from the apartment. There is an indoor garage
7 blocks from the apt and costs about $20 a day.
Interaction with Guests
We let our guests just enjoy themselves but if they need anything a property manager is right on the premises to assist.
I love this neighborhood because it is very safe and you have incredible views of one the greatest cities on earth. All the beauty without the hustle and bustle - a great retreat to wind down after touring the City. You have outdoor space both with the amazing views and a relaxing atmosphere. Our Boulevard is great for romantic strolls in the evening after a day of adventure in NYC (which is just minutes away). There are several great restaurants in the area and a major grocery store within walking distance.
Easy transportation - NJ Transit Bus at the corner which goes directly to Port Authority or community bus that uses the same route. These buses run all hours of the night and day. If you prefer to go across the Hudson, the ferry is only a short walk away - and a beautiful 7 minute ride to NYC. Taxis are always a another option. There are several in West NY and NY Yellow Cabs come to West NY frequently.
Other Things to Note
Great Mexican restaurant down the road - Charritos, and Benitos italian restaurant up the road.
Be respectful of the apartment furnishings and your neighbors (we are sure you will!).
Évidemment, la vue est splendide et correspond à l'annonce. Le bus pour se rendre à Manhattan est pratique. Le logement est sommaire mais il y a l'essentiel. Très bon contact avec Michael.
We were given very clear instructions about how to get into the apartment and very good directioms to the flat.
We had good communication and advice about where to park the car etc . The apartment was clean and tidy and the views really were very spectacular.
Michael was very prompt in responding to our request to use the place and very patient in guiding us towards the apartment when we were trying to find the place. All information provided on the site is accurate, the location itself is more than any one can ask for - just across the Hudson, with an incredible view of Manhattan. Getting into NY city is very convenient with NJ Transit and is fairly quick - minutes rather than hours. The neighborhood itself is very safe and the apartment is safe as well, with no fear for loosing your things.
All that said, the apartment itself is basically functional and does require some upkeep. Serves the purpose, but could be better, fixing floors, doors and the like. Adequate supply of linens was a good thing. Although not a complaint, parking has to be carefully managed with attention needed to posted signs and keeping track of times and getting valid parking permits. Our family enjoyed the spectacular view and was a unique experience.
The view is just as advertised! Spectacular! You can see it all right out the front window. Parking was not so easy, we parked in a garage 8 blocks away for $20/day which was most convenient for us. The other option was to daily go about 10 blocks away to buy a visitor pass for the street good for 24 hours at $3/day. There is one day per week that you cannot park in each area for street cleaning, so you do have to move your car around a bit and depending on your daily schedule can be a hassle. Spacious unit, but could use more seating in the living area. Only had one small couch for 6 people, but there was a dining table for 6. No frills in unit, but reasonably clean. Was easy to get on/off bus to NYC and only took about 15 mins to get to Port Authority bus terminal right in Time Square. Can pay cash on Jersey Side but have to have prepaid ticket to get back on in NYC. Charritos restaurant a few blocks away was great! A few other take-out places a few blocks away. Felt safe in neighborhood and well lit from bus to apartment.
