This was a great house for my group. We were in town for a wedding nearby, so we filled up nearly all the beds. Kitchen was well stocked with cooking utensils, and there were two big dining tables. The house is right next to a farm, and the views were beautiful from the porch. As others have mentioned, the bathroom situation is unique. There are three toilets, two bathtubs (one huge), and only one shower, and several rooms are arranged in a U-shape with connecting doors. It worked for us, since we were all good friends, but this house would be trickier for a group needing more privacy. Just something to be aware of! Traci was a wonderful host, and we would definitely come back someday!

A lovely spot in rural Vermont. 8 of us, all family, were attending a nieces wedding nearby and it was a perfect location for us. The town is 5ish minutes away, but the kitchen was fully equipped which allowed us the flexibility to make dinner. The place was clean and ready for us, fresh sheets on the beds and clean bathrooms and kitchen. Great views from the porches, relaxed furnishings, comfortable beds.

This is one of the most beautiful rural settings I've stayed at in the New England area. The house is surrounded by the Green Mountain forest reserve, with nothing within sight for miles except for the active farm next door. We were surrounded by sheep, cows, horses, kittens, birthing and feeding birds, and even a baby llama! Some in our group heard coyotes howl at the full moon! Staci was a very responsive manager and went out of her way to make our visit comfortable. We were a group of 7, and she placed a separate bed and created a private room for one in the party. At one point it was very hot and I requested a fan and two new fans were left overnight at our doorstep. The kitchen is very well equipped and the porch with a 180 degree view of the hills and the valley is simply breathtaking. There's a laundry room, plenty of towels, clean sheets, quilts, closets. The wireless worked fine which was great because we all had poor cellular service in most of the area. Having said this, as one previous reviewer reported, the house does have its peculiarities and isn't for everyone. 1) There are indeed flies indoors and the wire mesh on the front door is torn. If it were fixed it would really lessen the problem with flies. We were very careful to keep the front door closed but the flies and bugs came in anyway because of the ripped screen. 2) None of the bathrooms upstairs have locks so it's just not comfortable if you want some private time. It would be quite simple to attach latches in the bathrooms. 3) Architecturally, the 3 baths upstairs are railroad style which really is an inconvenient design. There is only 1 shower in the house as a previous reviewer pointed out, and you can only access it through the large bedroom with the twin beds so no privacy for those occupants. The jacuzzi which is in the middle of the two baths, I guess hardly gets used as you would have to go through one or the other baths to get to it. It would be so much better if the only bathroom upstairs that can be accessed from the common area had a shower stall installed where the bath is! Shouldn't be that complicated I would think since all the plumbing is in place. That, with locks on the bathroom doors would make the house much more comfortable for large groups. However, having said that, we all want to return to Mountain View sometime. It is simply a lovely house and the setting is gorgeous.

We had a lovely time at the Marsh Brook house! It was a beautiful old farm house, with lovely views of the mountains and lots of charm. We especially loved the big, well-appointed kitchen, and the table with views on three sides. The farm next door was charming, and we really enjoyed seeing the sheep and goats. We didn't get to spend much time in the town, but it looked very sweet. There was nice hiking nearby. We didn't get to meet Staci, but she was very pleasant and communicative. We would definitely stay there again!

I am a young, easy going person. I am a very honest, organized and trustworthy person. I love meeting new people and making sure all of my guests enjoy their stay.

My husband and I have a 4 1/2 month old son, our first child and a super smart 2 year Golden Retriever who loves living on the farm.

We love living on a farm in this small country town. We live in a great community full of wonderful people and things to do.

I am new at being a host so I am very open to feedback and advice. My goal is to make everyone's stay as enjoyable and relaxing as possible.
