Riccardo was very friendly in welcoming us when we arrived and helping us during our stay. The room was nice and in a good location near everything that we wanted to see in Firenze. Breakfast was very good.
The room was nice, but the host family is very rude and unkind. I would not recommend staying here, as it was my worst experience in 5 weeks traveling Europe, staying only in Airbnb spots. They leave one bathroom/shower for 4 rooms, with their "private" bathroom located on same floor but locked at all times -- even when I was waiting for a long time, insisting I continue to wait for the shared bathroom. Host insisted we "stole" a bottle of water, going as far as charging us through Airbnb, even though we did not take any water or use any of their minibar items. Fellow guests had similar attitude, with no friendliness or conversation amongst guests or staff, indicative of the culture and energy of the space
They also insisted on taking photocopies of our passports without any explanation, something I haven't seen anywhere and still feel quite uncomfortable that they kept. Whether it is a practice of the hotels in the city or not is irrelevant if you don't explain before or during the process.
This is definitely not a typical Airbnb situation of friendly hosts and happy guests, but fine in a pinch. Make sure to double check the minibar is stocked to avoid them harassing you later.
You were an extremely unfriendly and rude person we ever met in all our experience . You also are the first who write that we were rude, I wish you could explained why we were rude. We can explain how You were terrible rude, never talk to us and when we asked you how were you and how was the weather in your hometown you immediately shut the door of your room in our face and told us " how I supposed to know that since I'm traveling for 6 weeks " ....... and you closed the door . You didn't even give us the time to checked in you into the room as you immediately took the keys in our hands . We didn't have the chance to talk to you as a normal Airbnb fellow host is doing even if for 1 night . Yes you stolen a mineral water without taking care of the price list which is in the room , you checked out in a rush and just later we found out that you took it . Of course we asked you to pay a no free item which is not included . It's about respect and good behavior. Unfortunately you haven't none of those .
Also you didn't show at the breakfast in the morning .
All around the world when register they ask for passport for the police in order to check any criminal case and also you are required to pay the city tax a tax for the city !
Concerning the bathroom , you choose to book a room with share bathroom that was shared with only 1 room and no 6 . We really think you definitely need to stay in a Hostel where probably they don't register or ask for passport , where you don't talk with the owner and where you don't try to live like a local and where maybe you can stolen bottles of water ..... You definetly are not good for Familiar Bed&breakfast.
That's way we wrote a negative feedback for other host . We really hope they won't accept you .
siamo felici siate stati bene.
Purtroppo però come scritto nell'annuncio la bottiglia di vino viene offerta per soggiorni con un minimo di 3 notti e no per una notte.
Sicuramente ci rivedremo la prossima volta.
Un caro saluto
Serena. Riccardo e Paola
