We are entrepreneurs and we love hosting both techies and artists. We love art, especially photography, cook quite a bit and love meeting interesting people. We're in touch with many of the guests who stayed here and had the opportunity to collaborate with some of them professionally. We'll be happy to help you with information about SF and the area, and connect you with other people for fun and for work.
The best coffee roasters in San Francisco are nearby: Ritual Roasters and Four Barrel are located in this neighborhood. There are loads of great coffee options like Philz and Grand Coffee on Mission nearby.
CAFES and BREAKFAST
Boogaloos and Liberty Cafe are great and there are many cafes and bakerys, like Worker Cooperative Arizmendi, Sandbox and the famous Tartine is also not far from here, but plan to get in line. So worth it.
There are many options for foodies, such as Ichi Sushi, named the best Sushi in SF last year and around the corner, Commonwealth, Foreign Cinema, Incanto and for more adventurous palettes Mission Chinese, named the #3 restaurant in the country by Gourmet Magazine last year. This area also has some of the best Mexican cusine in SF. You can literally eat at a different taco place every night and they each have their own character and specialty.
Mitchell's is a destination and always packed and right around the corner. Humphry Slocombe is another local favorite along with Bi-Rite Creamery.
This is a great neighborhood for many diverse bars such as El Rio and Amnesia for live music, Rock Bar for some of the best artisan cocktails and the Knockout is a great dive. There are also many other hipster dives and even Naps for some fun Kareoke.
Safeway is a short walk and there is a Walgreens on the corner too.
Neighborhood is very bike friendly and mostly flat with a Bike score of 91.. You can rent a bike in the nearby Valencia cyclers shop.
Convenient to both bus and the BART subway (0.4 mile, 10 minute walk). This neighborhood is rated a "walker's paradise" with a Walk score of 98, and the Transit Score is 88, so you will not have a problem getting around without a car, but there is also convenient parking if you choose to drive. MUNI serves this location very well, with routes 14, 14L and 49 stopping less than a block away, plus many other routes a short walk away. There is a San Francisco City Pass available online that is a good deal for visitors, though BART is excluded. You may want to check the option of getting a CLIPPER Card which is accepted at all Bay Area transit operators. It's very convenient and can be ordered online and set up to load from a credit card.
Parking is pretty easy and so taking a car is convenient if thats how you roll. This is really an anomaly for most of SF but since we are on a side street of mostly private dwellings our parking restrictions are not as tight as most of the city.
What are you waiting for? Book us, you will love it here!
Room, separate bathroom, media room, quiet back yard.
You have a few major options that are walking-distance:
1.Bernal Heights – Cortland st has plenty of cafes, restaurants, supermarket, and other services. We highly recommend taking a 10 min walk up the hill for a 360 degrees view of SF.
2.Noe Valley – Church st has high-end shops, restaurants, and if you walk to 24th st, that’s a major street with cafes, restaurants, and whole foods.
3.Valencia Corridor – Valencia st. is very hip, full of restaurants, cafes, bars, boutiques, antiques, and other shopping. Very active also at night. If you walk on Valencia to 18th st and turn left, you will get to some of the most famous restaurants here and to the famous Dolores Park. From there you can also walk to the Castro.
4.Mission st. is very nice for authentic food (some of the best Mexican and Chinese in the country – restaurants bakeries etc) and cheap shops.
We have a few SF guides in the room downstairs (by the second entrance).
100 feet from bus stop and 10 min walk from bart, super easy to get anywhere. Lots of guests also choose to rent a bike and we are happy to store them in our garage for you.

Cosy and comfortable place. Separate entrance. Great location. Warm and friendly hosts. Felt like at home.
Not particularly impressed with this place. The neighborhood is on the southern fringes of the Mission, an area with some signs of gentrification (coffee shop just at the bottom of the street) but fairly gritty. The room is in the bottom of a house on a steep hill. It has a separate entry through a locked gate and by the trash receptacles. The only window looks out on the trash receptacles. Parking is problematic if you come home late. Look carefully at the signs on the streets for the hours that parking is permissible. The room itself is spartan, the bed sits on the ground as pictures suggest. The bedding not particularly fresh feeling. Positives are that you have a bathroom just down the hall and a sitting area with TV. You can hear the conversation from upstairs if you are in the bathroom/ hall or have the bedroom door open and there is a lot of yelling. The hosts seemed pretty unhappy, not particularly pleasant or interested in engaging with us (that was fine with us but at least they should make the guests feel welcome). Personally, I would never stay here again and it has put the whole airbnb experience in a negative light for me. My girlfriend was a little more positive about it.
Room is spacious and neat. The bed isn't the greatest but separate bathroom is next to the shared living room, which is nice and clean. The location is great.. safe and convenient. Limor and Lisha are lovely and helped us with dining recommendations - make sure you go to Foreign Cinema for dinner WOW. Easy check in/out. This is very good value for what your options are in San Fran, I would much prefer to stay here rather than a motel in a sketchy area for similar money. Thanks so much!
A great place to stay and a good area from which to explore San Fran. Our hosts were friendly and helpful and also let us have our own space. It's everything that the listings says what else could you want!
Limor's place is great. Her and Lisha were awesome hosts. They were extremely easy going and flexible with Check in/ out. great place to stay for business travel in a good neighborhood and right on the bus line. The room was clean and private with it's own entrance and bathroom. I'd stay again in a heart beat!
The apartment was very nice. It is located in a vibrant neighborhood. Also Limor was very kind and helpful. We would highly recommend his place! Thank you!
