  • Our stay in Sara's studio could not have been better. The apartment looks exactly as it does in the pictures which is gorgeous! Sara was a wonderful and very generous host providing us with metro card passes and even cupcakes on arrival! My boyfriend and I stayed for 2 nights last weekend and it was perfect for us. Alexandria is a lovely contrast to the bustle of DC and it was easy to get to/from the metro. Thank you so much for such a great stay!

  • The studio is great , like in the photos. Sara was great to communicate with and very helpful. Old Town Alexandria has a lot nice little cafés , restaurants. I would stay at her apartment again.

  • The location, price, and attention to detail make this a very special place to stay in the DC area. Sara was very organized and made the whole experience (from booking until our departure) easy, friendly, and informative. As others have said, it is a bit of a hike (over a mile) to the King Street Metro, but if you are comfortable with buses or going to the station when the free trolley runs along King Street, it is very easy to get around. We loved it and will definitely be back! (PS: It was our first time using Airbnb, and we are so happy we did!)

  • Sara's apartment is lovely and very cosy. It felt like home and I really enjoyed my stay. I'll definitely love to stay there again, if I do visit Alexandria.

  • This was my third stay at Sara's studio. As expected, the experience was great and Sara is always beyond accommodating. The studio is tasteful and well-equipped with anything you could possibly need. Location is convenient to DCA and walkable to King Street. I'm sad I do not have any more upcoming trips to Alexandria because the cosy studio would definitely be my first choice. Thank you, Sara!

  • I almost hate to tell anyone how perfect this studio is and what a joy Sara is to work with!! I'm afraid that once everyone knows she'll book up before we can visit again!!
Seriously - my husband and I stayed here for an overnight and will DEFINITELY be back.
The location is great. The apartment is compact but has EVERYTHING you might need or want. Very upscale and stylish. The bed is incredibly comfortable, the kitchen well stocked and the sitting area is very comfy.
As for Sara................she actually left work to meet us at the art gallery in order to give us the keys and tips on where to get dinner, etc. She is a gem.
This was our first stay at an AirBnB property and we are sold!!!!

  • Sara's place was wonderful -- very charming as you can see by the pictures, very clean and well-kept, with everything you might need for several days away from home. One of my favorite airbnb experiences so far! Sara was helpful and flexible in arranging checkin and left many touches around the apartment to make her guests feel at home. She also has a written apartment guide with the little details, which is so helpful. The location is terrific as well! Thanks Sara!

  • Lovely apartment and easy to work with host. Warm and sunny, even during the winter. Nice touches like basic toiletries, printer, tea, and guide to the neighborhood. It's a bit of a hike to the metro but an easy walk to King street, nearby restaurants, and grocery stores.

  • What a GREAT little place right down the street from Old Town's main strip. I came into town late on a cold night looking for a good AirBnB place last minute and Sara came to my rescue wonderfully. Definitely recommend the spot, super friendly host :)

  • My bf and I stayed one night at Sara's adorable and yes, very cozy studio on our road trip down to Georgia. The apartment to close to everything. We enjoyed coffee at Misha's and had an amazing dinner at Columbia Firehouse (the mussels are a must try if you enjoy seafood)! We were fortunate enough to meet Sara. She was very kind and helpful! Thank you for the scrumptious cookies....I want the recipe :) We'd
stay here again in a heartbeat!
