The 3-room apartment is located on the 3rd (top) floor of Casa "Nostrana". Thanks to this fact, you have a truly breathtaking view of the entire expanse of Lake Maggiore on the loggia and from the bedrooms (from the bed!). Since the loggia faces the promenade directly, you can experience this evening if you don't want to stroll yourself. Since you are on the 2nd floor and protected by some plants, you still have perfect privacy. In this loggia you forget the time!

But the excellent location offers you even more: Piazza Guiseppe Motta (lake promenade) IS THE center of the local exit. Over 10 fantastic restaurants (from the Chinese, over €€gourmet restaurant, to the rich grotto), some bars and the beautiful harbour, invite you to linger and enjoy.

In the middle of the narrow streets of the Altstatt, you can reach the center of Ascona in a few steps, where you can go shopping, the Biblioteca Ascona or the cinema (Otello). But I prefer to spend the day at Lido Ascona. The drinks, the sandy beach, the sporting opportunities and the clean lake let me really enjoy my holiday.

I could still write endlessly about bungee jumping in Valle Verzasca (James Bond Dam Bridge), mountain biking, jogging track, the Seven Chain (which has built up a small empire in Ascona), the golf course, the old airfield, go-kart in the plain of Ticino, the playground right by the lake, pedalling on it, and so on....
