What a lovely space. So much nicer than a hotel, beautiful furnishings and art work, lovely view. We hope to come back.
Everything was wonderful and we had a great time. The accomodation was welcoming and beautifully decorated. The views were amazing and were already planning our next trip! Thanks for making your space so special.
Set against it's own wetlands, this property has a gorgeous ambience. With a beautiful collection of artwork and collectibles, the space makes for relaxing holiday.
The only down fall is the lack of privacy as the bedrooms are part of the general space. However, this is very minor detail in an otherwise perfect holiday destination.
We loved this property but with some reservations. We, a couple in our 60s, were travelling with our daughter/stepdaughter and her new(ish) partner and expected there to be some privacy on the sleeping arrangements. Unfortunately there wasn't and neither couple felt comfortable staying with the arrangement so the younguns decamped to a local motel. If anyone was to blame it was probably us (me!) for not reading the description thoroughly. The only other slight glitch was that the access details were e.mailed to us, but as we had no internet access we didn't pick up this info until the day after we left.
As accommodation for two we can only describe Saltmarsh as excellent and we would not hesitate to return....but only as a couple!
Beautifully deigned accommodation!! Loved my stay here. The kitchen was equipped well as we cooked our meals so was perfect! Would definitely stay here again. Only thing I needed was WiFi as didn't have reception on my phone so couldn't hotspot. Thanks for having us!
Saltmarsh lived up to expectations, a beautiful spot close to the spectacular coastal walk and swimming beach. Tina and Glenistair made us feel very welcome and Warrnambool turned on the weather, swimming at Stingray Bay and fish and chips on the deck were two highlights of our stay.
A wonderful place to spend a quiet weekend.
Lovely home (open plan but that suited us!) and easily accommodated two couples. Highly recommended!
Hi there. We live three blocks from the Southern Ocean and try to walk with our dog Monty each day along the beach, or surf the wild Southern waves as often as possible. Our lifestyle is all about balance, with plenty of time to spend time with our three teenage sons, each other, our friends and travelling. We enjoy telling our story and hearing about others and their lives. As Glenistair is a hot glass maker we enjoy art and craft creativity and making things by hand. We are self employed. We love coffee, good food and wine, challenging ourselves with trivia, watching documentaries and foreign films, and collecting and listening to vinyl records.
