About This Listing
Located in the heart of the capital, in an alive pedestrian street full of restaurant and markets, my apartment accomodates up to 4 people. Newly renovated, it is quiet, welcoming and perfect for a parisian experience!
Located in the heart of the capital, two steps away of the old Market place of Paris and a few minutes away from Opera district, this short term apartment rental is located only few blocks from the Beaubourg Centre and the Marais. You will move from traditional architecture, full of charm and so typical of Paris, to an ultra modern architecture which makes this district one of the most popular. Your apartment is also surrounded by restaurants proposing menus from all over the world! In the middle of the pedestrian Montorgueil area, you will live like a true Parisian, you will be able to buy regional typically French products. The Paris apartment is close to the metro line 3 - best line to go to the Marais (5 minutes) - Cemetery of the Pere Lachaise (10 minutes). Line A - Chatelet/Les Halles direct to go to Disneyland Resort (30 minutes).
Good standing building. The Paris apartment is on the frist floor (EU way) with no elevator.
Apartment rental in Paris of 50 m2 that has been newly renovated. It is composed of a living / dining room with an open kitchen. A sofa bed will allow two additional people to sleep. A marble table makes it possible to dine up to 4 people easily. The bedroom, lookIng on a small interior courtyard, is very peaceful. The bed measures 160*200. The bathroom is small but well designed with a superb shower. This apartment, located in one of the most lively parts of the city, has been renovated in an Italian style and constitutes perfect “pied à terre” to rent in Paris.
It was very special at so many levels. First, the area of Petits Carreaux/Montorgeuil is charming, bustling, and full of character. Maria's apartment is centrally located to enjoy this area, as well as is close (walking distance) to do much more- Notre Dame, the Marais, St. Germain, etc. the actual apartment is easy to navigate, well equipped, and Maria is a delight to work with in setting things up. The entire experience was a treat.
Thank you Maria for a wonderful experience.
Having never been to Paris we could not have been more pleased with the location. We loved the pedestrian street, having amazing food at our finger tips and the ability to walk to many of the highlights of the city or easily catch the metro. There were four adults in our party and though it was snug with the luggage and all, we found it to be sufficient space considering we did not spend a tremendous amount of time in the apartment.
If you are flying into or out of CDG airport, we found the RER "B" to/from Les Halles to be a very easy transfer for €10 per person. A walk straight up Rue Montorgueil brings you right to the apartment. If arriving via the Eurostar at Gare du Nord consider the #4 Metro to the Reaumur-Sebastopol stop. The apartment is a short walk down Rue Reaumur before coming to the street where the apartment is located.
Thanks you Susan for this useful review. You're right, those are the best ways to get to the apartment, either from CDG and from Gare du Nord, even if the closest metro station in Sentier (line # 3).
I'm glad you had a wonderful first time in Paris and I sincerely hope to host you again soon!
This apartment in Paris was wonderful! We had everything we needed! The kitchen was well furnished. Everything was easy to use, and functional. They even had a helpful instruction book just in case! The beds were very comfortable with extra pillows and blankets. The hosts were very helpful! The communication was prompt and they were delightful to work with. The street outside had plenty of restaurants, fruit stands and bakeries as well as a pharmacy and small grocery store. It was lovely to come back after a day of sightseeing and have a variety of places to eat and shop. My daughter loved the Gelato place at the of the street. The metro being just steps away was a bonus!
I'm glad you had a good time in Paris and you liked the apartment. Indeed, we just made a useful notebook with all the information about the apartment. I hope you found there all you needed. And you're daughter is right: Amorino is the best italian icecream I've tried as well.
Hope to host you again,
We had a great time at this lovely apartment in the heart of Paris! It was so central to all the sites we wanted to see, there are a ton of fantastic restaurants within walking distance, and it is on such a lively, fun street. The apartment was gorgeous, very clean, very quiet, and provided all the comforts of home. We hope to stay there again the future!
Well, where to start. As newcomers to the Airbnb experience I can only say that Maria's apartment was a gem! We were so lucky to have stayed there. The flat was most importantly exactly as the photos and as described. Clean and great location. Stefano met us at the apartment on time and was very helpful. The communication back and forth was very good. We had no problems at all, but am sure if there were any there would have been a prompt response from the hosts. I am almost loathed to let people know how great this flat is as then it will be sooo popular! We hope to come back again soon.
My husband and I stayed in this gorgeous apartment for 7 days and we truly could not have been happier with our choice.
Our host greeted us at the agreed time and was very friendly as he provided a tour of the apartment and gave us a few pointers. Not only is this charming apartment tastefully appointed and absolutely gorgeous, but every thought has been given to what a guest might need. We cooked and ate in many of our meals, and happily found right away that we'd need nothing but the food we'd be preparing. The bedroom was a very good size and very cozy. The bathroom was small but modern, and the shower is very large (and the rain showerhead was a dream!) Most mornings and evenings we'd open the windows to the wonderful street sounds and when we'd close them in the evenings we heard nothing at all, which was great for sleeping.
We were absolutely thrilled to find that directly below the apartment (and up and down this wonderfully vibrant pedestrian street) are very friendly shop-keepers in the most perfect of shops. Among them: a fabulous fromagerie, a tiny but perfect produce shop, a fishmonger, a wine merchant, a chocolatier and of course more than one patisserie and bakery. My husband and I are pescatarians, but there are butcher shops, too. We also found just a few doors down the block 2 tidy grocery stores, and at least two pharmacies that carry everything one could possibly need. Of very special note: the oldest patisserie in all of Paris, Stohrer, is on this very street - please do not miss it!
Truly, we were in foodie heaven.
After walking many miles around the city during our first few days in Paris, we very quickly realized that our favorite street in Paris was exactly where we were staying: Montorgueil. In fact, during our last two days in Paris we did not leave our immediate area, but instead decided to shop at the many stores on our street and in the surrounding blocks, as well as to enjoy the sights and sounds of our neighborhood by dining and drinking al fresco at the numerous cafes.
My husband and I cannot recommend our hosts - or this property - enough!
Our best -
Sabrina and Glenn Phillips
Thanks Sabrina for this wonderful comment of your stay in Paris. I love the rue Montorgueil and the options it gives you: restaurants, shops, markets and all types of "boutiques". Defenitely I'm going to try the Stohrer patisserie (I have never been there, shame on me). I hope I'll have the chance to host you again in the future).
Rue de Petits Carreaux is an amazing place to stay for food lovers. It is very conveniently located as well for RER trip to both Orly and CDG airports. Louvre and the rest of the centre is within 15 min walk. Apartment is very cosy and well equipped, we were 3 and it was comfortable. Maria and Stephano are very attentive hosts and have been very helpful before and during our stay. We appreciated as well late check-out opportunity though I understand it is not always possible. We hope to be back, thank you.
