The hosts were great. The building is charming and quiet. There are plenty of things to see and do within walking distance. I would definitely stay there again.
Our first Airbnb stay was outstanding, thanks to Sandi's splendid hospitality and her wonderful accomodations.
The location is perfect, within easy walking distance to so many attractions in downtown Chattanooga - after parking at Sandi's building on Friday afternoon, we didn't need to move our car until we checked out on Sunday!
Our space in Sandi's apartment was spotlessly clean and absolutely beautiful (just as in her photos). I had so much fun taking in the artwork decorating the apartment as well as the lovely architecture. The bed was so very comfortable, and fitted with the finest linens that I think I've ever slept on.
And the breakfasts - what a treat for all the senses! Sandi's spectacular blueberry pancakes, breakfast casserole, and other treats were just perfect, and served with beautiful presentation at her table. She had coffee ready for us each morning, freshly-made cookies for us in the afternoon, and prepared a delicious shrimp dip for us to snack on whenever we liked.
I just cannot imagine a more gracious host, or a better place to stay in downtown Chattanooga - highly recommend! Thanks so much, Sandi!
Very welcoming and kind, and the room was really nice. Comfortable bed and good water pressure in the en-suite bathroom. Just a few blocks from the arts museum, which sits on a bluff with a gorgeous view of the river.
Exactly as promised, beautiful place in a nice quiet building within walking distance of lots of cool things in downtown Chattanooga. Sandi herself is a lovely host: made us feel very welcome, super helpful, and great conversation! Would stay here again for sure. Thanks!
Sandi is a gracious and hospitable host. Her apartment and the bedroom/bathroom are true to the pictures and description: nearby downtown, and very clean, comfortable, and spacious.
Sandi was a wonderful host. She made us feel completely welcome. Breakfasts were delicious and very hearty, and we were greeted with cookies when we came back to the apartment at night! Her apartment is in the perfect place to enjoy downtown Chattanooga, everything is in walking distance. The room itself is huge, including an enormous bathroom. Not to mention, there is a washer/dryer in your private area!! We had a great time in Sandi's home and would love to come back.
Sandi made us feel very welcome in her home! The room was exactly like the photos: it was warm, cozy, and spacious. She made us breakfast each morning and even catered it to us as vegetarians! She thoughtfully offered advice when we asked her about things to do in Chattanooga. We truly had a wonderful time staying at Sandi's!
I am living in an authentic, beautiful old brown stone apartment built in the early 1900's. It has been recognized under the National Register of Historic Places by the U S Department of Interior. I spend time at the local museum as a docent. I have two daughters, one who works as a nurse and another as a teacher living in Denver. I am flexible and spontaneous originating from Minnesota; spending many years living in Atlanta, GA before moving to Chattanooga, TN. I love the arts and spending time in the great outdoors.
