Enjoy the nighttime sky and countryside in our quiet 2nd story apartment. Relax by the pool and watch the neighboring cows. Deer in the early morning. Sometimes the turkeys will drop by. Fresh eggs from our hens included by request.

~Goliad Market Days 2nd Saturday each month. Visit The Historic Goliad Forts. Ask about area horse riding lessons $45. Bring your kayak for the Goliad Paddling Trail, take a walk in solitiude down the road to the dry creek. Visit the haunted Yorktown hospital.

The space
One night stay available at $125. 2nd story unit above garage. Queen bedroom and Queen Bunks in the living area. We can comfortably accommodate 4 adults or total 6 guests with children.

We don’t mind a couple of people visiting for a few hours before 9pm, but we do not host gatherings or parties.

Guest access
Entire outdoor areas including pool & patio and interior apartment with deck. Take a walk down the quiet road to the dry creek!

Pecan trees give the apartment deck privacy from the main house April-December.

BBQ is a gas grill down by the pool.

There are 2 sun loungers, patio furniture, ping pong table, pool basketball, and pool toys in the storage. Feel free to use the whole patio and entire grounds.

Please help us out by hanging wet clothes in the bathroom door hooks. Whole floor is new, laminate and easy to water damage .

We do have hard water in the apartment and the toliet bowl is pretty stained although clean.

The deck is safe but is nearing end of life and looks like it lived on the beach its entire existence.

There are blackout curtains in the bedroom for naps before and sleeping late.

This is a country stay please don't be surprised if you see bugs, spiders, mice, or a snake on premises. Snakes are rare but it happens.

Deer are all around, especially in the evening/early morning. Coyotes get to hollering most nights.

There are chickens but the rooster is gone:) No more crowing out here. We also have three friendly dogs and a cat roaming about. One outdoor dog does like to get his howling on at night with the coyotes.

A recent guest suggested we let people know to bring their groceries out with them. A trip to Lowe’s Grocery, Dollar General, or Family Dollar in Yorktown is about 13 minutes. Extra maps with back ways are sent 48 hours before checking in with the gate combo lock.

Please help me out with washing your dishes and keeping trash in the trash cans. :) No need to make the beds, I have to wash it all anyway.

Front gate is a 20 foot black steel gate, manual open. With a large S in the middle. Easiest to open by pushing from the second and fourth bar instead of the end. It is heavy and on a wheel.
