The villa was as beautiful in reality as it was in the pictures! Spectacular patio with a mind-blowing view, and gorgeous architecture. Didn't even realize that a small & lovely pool was also available for use, on the lower level. Our hosts were charming and helpful at all times. The location is definitely remote - a long walk down to the beach and a crowded bus ride back - but it was SO worth it! We look forward to spending more time at Villa Mario.
We had such a wonderful time staying at Villa Mario Casa Iris. One of the main reason's I chose to stay here was how great the host was at answering all of our questions. I was hesitant to stay with our two small children in Nocelle after hearing how remote it was but it was the dreamiest and well worth the extra time it took to get back from the beach in Positano. Flavio met us on arrival and helped us with our bags and was a welcome face every morning replenishing breakfast items for the little one. We spent a lot of time on the outside deck and enjoyed the little pool (at the time of our booking it wasn't listed so was a pleasant surprise.) Our friends booked the terraced flat up the stairs from us and it was also so charming I would have happily stayed there as well (there are four total I believe) Emanuella made reservations for us at beach clubs and restaurants almost every day which was so kind of her. Nocelle itself has two really great restaurants and a little grocery and the bus stop is not too far to walk. We had amazing meals in Montepertuso, the little town closest, and one day, we even walked down the 1000 stairs to Arienzo beach for a great beach day. There is so much to see and do in this area. I can think of no better way to end each day then in this beautiful little town perched high above the ocean. It is truly magic and I hope one day we can stay again at Villa Mario.
We loved our stay at Villa Mario. The apartment was perfect for our family of four - clean, well presented and with gorgeous sea views. Flavio was exceptionally helpful, a god-send when it came to transporting our luggage; lovely breakfast treats; and top tip to spend a day in the stunning Ravello. The walk from the car park is a little arduous (a few flights of stairs) when you have quite a bit of luggage like us!! Would absolutely recommend it, and I hope we'll be back soon.
This was an absolutely fabulous first three days in Italy. Debora was extremely attentive right from the time of booking. The apartment is even more fabulous in the photos with fabulous views and a very refreshing pool.
Flavio was there to meet us and nothing was too much trouble for him, we were given a warm welcome complete with coffee and fabulous recommendations.
Prior to arrival Debora booked us a transfer from the airport which was very reasonably priced. Flavin even arranged our transfer to our next apartment.
We were awoken with a lovely Italian breakfast each morning. V nice.
The surrounding village is extremely friendly, the people who run the bar above the resturaunt could not be more accommodating, even making us lunch and serving wine to our apartment!
This is truly a wonderful stay with lots of character and fantastic people.
Thanks again to flavin for making this a fantastic holiday.
We loved everything. The location, the quietness, the authenticity, Emanuella was great, Flavio meeting us, & our beautiful apt. So clean. It is a very quality place & of course we loved the view...:)
Debora, Emanuela and Flavio were great! They went out of there way to help arrange transportation for us.
Villa Mario Casa Iris is an awesome accommodation and can comfortably sleep 4. The views are fantastic.

I love traveling to any destination, expecially to Spain, to discover the past traditions of the local inhabitants and spanish way of cooking.
I am particulary interested in interior design.
My favourite writer is Paulo Coelho.
I listen pop music and my favourite singer is Vasco Rossi.

I love motorcycles.
My husband Corrado plays soccer. He enjoys having meals with friends.
We both decided to live in the small town of Nocelle in 1994, when we bought the property, as we love deeply nature.
Until 2001 the village was reachable by foot only;
there was no access by car coming from the surrounding area and Positano, but just the pedestrinan road. Then the first driveway was built here.
I will have much pleasure to welcoming you in our place;
I will be at your disposal during your stay.
I will be like your guide with the hope to help you get your bearings in our land!
My life motto is: Time to relax!!
