We found Diane to be most gracious, helpful, and easy to be with. Loved her little critters as well.
Everything the reviews below say is true. Diane was lovely as was her home, our room, and the quite neighborhood. It was easy to find the place using our phone's navigation, and as an added bonus, the local gas station had the cheapest gas we passed in all of Arizona. When we first met, we ate in her charming backyard overlooking a closed-down golf course and even got to meet her neighbor cleaning up his garden. She gave us a delicious and filling breakfast each morning (no matter how late we got up) and gave us a vacuum to help with cleaning our rental car! Thanks for everything Diane. Hope to see you again!
Diane also gave us a lot of local recommendations as well as tips about where to go for roadtrips. Sedona, Prescott, Jerome (make sure to stop in Robin Anderson's gallery), Montezuma's Well, and the Meteor Crater are nearby. The Grand Canyon (enter via the south rim and exit by the East Rim at sunset), and even the Horseshoe Bend and Antelope Canyon are accessible as day trips!)
Her pets are wonderful. Toby the dog was affectionate, and Marie the cat was very polite (I am allergic to cats but the house was so clean that I didn't have any reactions).
Diane was really sweet and always ready to recommend new spots in Sedona to check out. We went to some of the places she told us about and were really impressed! It was a beautiful stay. She gave us a cool breakfast every morning. Toby was also fun to hang out with. The location is convenient and there are nice amenities, so we definitely recommend staying with Diane, and will hopefully return one day ourselves!
I had a very pleasant stay with Diane. The home is lovely, and my room was private, comfortable and clean. Diane is friendly and warm. I was treated to a corned beef and cabbage dinner for St. Patrick's Day. It was a little difficult to find, but Diane drove out and led me to her home. Don't count on (website hidden) maps to lead you there; follow her directions. Highly recommended!
My stay at Diane's place was fantastic. The room was big and very clean. Diane was a wonderful host and extremely friendly. Even though my stay was short I really enjoyed my stay here.
Diane was the best host!. She was our first experience as a guest and not as a host. She was so nice, so helpful, that my wife and I felt at easy right away. Her dog Toby and the Cat, are very very entertaining and well behaved.
Her home was spotless, the bed was so comfortable. The kitchen was perfect. She made us continental breakfast one day and my wife cooked her USA/Chinese Spaghetti combo for all of us another night.
Her location was perfect for us. It is very central to all the special spots in Sedona, Jerome and Cottonwood. She is even very close to a couple of Casinos.
We will always stay at Duane's place if we go back to Sedona!
Diane has a lovely home in a quiet setting. She herself is a wonderful host and made us feel totally at home - as did Toby, her dog. Her continental breakfast is awesome, and her guest room is large and comfortable. You will need a GPS or detailed directions to find her, but it is well worth the extra effort.
Diane was the ideal host! My husband and I felt spoiled by her warm welcome, delicious treats throughout our stay, and hearty breakfast. Her guest bedroom is comfortable, spacious and private. It includes a large closet, television, and full, attached bathroom. Upon arrival, she had great advice on what to see and do. We took the short drive to Red Rock State Park followed by dinner in Sedona. At the end of the day, we enjoyed chatting by the fire with Diane and her sweet dog, Toby. We would have been very happy to stay longer and highly recommend her anyone in the area!
