How to get there
Ibiza airport is 20 minutes away. Car hire is highly recommended to make the most of all the island has to offer. The apartment benefits from secure underground parking for two cars.
The apartment is 10 minutes’ drive away from much-loved San Jose, which has numerous bars, restaurants, banks, shops, a pharmacy and post office. The vibe and the excitement of Ibiza Town, dominated by the 16th century fortifications of Dalt Vila, is located just 25 minutes away. The apartment is also conveniently located for the south-coast beach-bars Yemanja, Tropicana, Blue Marlin and Es Xarcu, which are also just 25 minutes’ drive as are old favourites, Es Cavallet and Ses Salinas beaches.
Cala Carbó, opposite the mythical rock of Es Vedrà on the south-west coast of the island, is favoured for its dramatic views and peaceful seclusion. A bar/restaurant, La Sardina Loca, which is open all day and a supermarket, with freshly-baked bread and a deli, are within walking distance of the apartment.
Charl was a fantastic host who made sure everything was arranged before we arrived. He was extremely organised and tried to accommodate our needs, providing us with suggestions as to how to make our stay that much more enjoyable.
The apartment itself is beautiful, clean, and has an amazing view of the ocean. It was perfect for the 4 of us and we all really enjoyed it.
I would definitely recommend hiring a car if staying at this apartment as it was quite hard to order taxis from here.
All in all we would all definitely stay at Charl's apartment again.

About the Host, Charl
I am a 35 year old professional, living and working in London, where I have lived since 1997 after spending my childhood in South Africa. I return to Cape Town as often as I am able however my list of 'must see/return to destinations' is so long I am struggling to keep up.
I love discovering the city of London (it is hard to keep up - there are new destinations every week!) and other parts of the world too. I am always very interested to know why people visit London and what they most look forward to - apart from those visiting on business of course.
I consider myself to be honest, polite and considerate. I really do believe in treating others like I would like to be treated. I also have a very mild case of OCD ;-).
Please do ask if you'd like to know anything else about me - I would happily share...within reason.
