This house was awesome! It was everything i wanted for 6 friends to celebrate a 30th birthday weekend out of the city. We spent most of our time on the huge 2nd story deck which includes a dining area, as well as a fire pit area to pull a chair up to and have a night cap.
The architecture of the house is another part we all enjoyed. Lots of glass, pocket doors, and other original details made the house interesting and made us feel like we were whisked away even further from home :)
The owners of the house were absolutely amazing. They made a folder of everything we might need for our weekend, including info on the house, maps of the area and lists of the cool places to go in town.
I would totally recommend this house and it's owners to anyone wanting to have a perfect Shelter Island experience, with a bonus of staying in a cool, quirky house with that amazing deck!!
