Tooraloo is a restored 1900s farm estate perched on 12 acres of green pasture just 6km from Byron Bay. Adorned with original art, antiques, stained glass and vast verandahs, this treasure's a holiday & event mecca. Relax by the large pool, cabana for entertainment, fire pit, BBQ hut, or meet the adorable farm animals! Peek heavenly sunsets beyond the ancient fig trees, or cozy up by the fire & stargaze in this otherworldly realm.

The space
Built in 1910 as the McSwan family’s homestead, this Federation beauty was once – and now is again – the grand old lady of the Myocum Valley.

The restored home boasts 5 bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms, with fine art, antiques, elegant lighting and stunning stained glass throughout. The formal dining and living areas with grand piano, modern appliances and fireplace are perfect for family dinners and entertaining before you luxuriate the day away in the marble bathrooms and clawfoot tub.

The house is embraced by charming country-style citrus, vegetable and rose gardens amidst park-like lawns and the heritage “peacock” tea house.

THE GROUNDS
Step outside in the morning to be greeted by gorgeous farmland views and charming gardens. Say hello to Choccy, our miniature horse and mascot. Take a dip in the pool, have lunch in the cabana and make a starlit dinner in the BBQ hut. Grab a ball or frisbee and take it to the fields. Though we're close to town and the beaches, we've got everything you need for a relaxed holiday right here.

PETS
We're proudly pet-friendly - no family member left behind. There is no fee for bringing your pet along, just please let us know in advance so we can prepare. You will be responsible and liable for their behaviour - please be mindful of the property and other guests.

THE AREA
Our haven is nestled on the beautiful hills of Ewingsdale. We’re just 5 minutes from Byron Bay, 10 from Bangalow, 15 from Mullumbimby, and a short walk to the well-loved ‘The Farm at Byron Bay.’ When you stay at Tooraloo, your options are endless. We’re just a short drive from popular destinations and activities in the area including:

- Surfing, swimming and relaxing at famous beaches like Watego, Tallow, Clarkes and Belongil
- Cape Byron Lighthouse
- The Farm at Byron Bay
- Cape Byron Distillery
- Stone & Wood and Byron Bay Brewing Co breweries
- Live music at the Beach Hotel or Rails
- Vibrant cafes and fashion boutiques
- Bangalow Markets
- The Crystal Castle
- Sunset horseriding
- Art galleries (including Concetta's own in Bangalow)

GETTING HERE & GETTING AROUND
We're conveniently situated just a hop off the M1 (though you'd never know it) so it's easy to get here by car, or by cab if you've come to Byron Bay by bus or air. If you're heading into town for a night out and want to leave the car behind, Ubers and taxis are available.

The famous 'The Farm Byron Bay' is just a short walk away - perfect for getting goodies from The Bread Social in the morning.
