The space

The architecture of the house is unique with high ceilings and perfect ocean views thanks to modern European energy saving, noise cancellation, security windows and sliding doors with mosquito nets.
You can enjoy the fresh Caribbean breeze or the comfort of spacious air-conditioned rooms - the house including the terrace measure about 250 sqm or 2700 sq ft and features an outdoor bathtub for 2 and a shower.
Our property is connected to a Fiber Optic cable which provides fast internet and offer access to our Netflix account - on both TV's (43" and 32") which are located in bedrooms (one king, one queen size bed).
The house is equipped with a fully new functional kitchen, including 4-burner stove, gas oven, microwave, fridge w. freezer, dishwasher, Weber Gas BBQ, coffee makers like French press and Italian/Dominican (Moka) espresso maker, drip coffee maker, toaster, blender, etc, and a laptop size safe. A washing machine is available on the premises and can be used free of charge.
We offer a free of charge cleaning service once a week. For extra cleaning services or cooking services , please be in touch for actual pricing.
We have a Taxi Service company of confidence at hand, should you need transport to and from the airport or to town or else in the country.
We furthermore do have a PV - photovoltaic (solar energy) system plus standby generator and should the power go for several hours which happens on occasion, you will have backup for a few hours and your internet and lights will work + your fridge will stay cold!
The air-conditioners can not be used during power outages.
We have a cistern for back-up water supply.
Please be aware when coming to the Dominican Republic that you can experience from time to time a water or electricity supply interruption from local providers.
The big terrace, facing the beach is surrounded by plants and a low, un-obstructing wall - perfect also for couples with younger kids.
Plus: Our garden is a spray free zone.
Important: We have rescue 4-5 cats roaming in the garden - we work together with the local vet to keep the cat population in-check by catching, neutering and sterilizing cats. Some of the cats we adopted together with our neighbor and they are living with us on the property. This is the main reason why we don't want dogs or other animals on the property!
Groceries and Restaurants:
There is an App called Komida! which will deliver groceries, baked goods as well as meals from a good selection of Las Terrenas restaurants to the house.
Feeling lazy? Have breakfast, lunch or dinner next door at Hotel Atlantis where the Chef/Owner Gerard is fulfilling his dream after having been former French President F. Mitterrand's private chef.
Also on the beach and only minutes away: El Mosquito, a laid back bar, restaurant and pizza place or So Beach.
Other nice restaurants with beach chairs on the boardwalk are Casa Grande and Costa Las Ballenas - just to name a few.
Super Pola/Sirena and Lindo - the biggest supermarkets in Las Terrenas deliver to the house! Lindo has an online shopping facility.
La Bodega Bonita is a close by convenience store - 5 minutes drive or a 15 minutes walk ...
Important:
We will charge metered electricity at the local provider cost for air-condition use only - approx. max. US $ 13 per day if you use the air-conditioners all day and night at a very cold setting (per airco/per day). Regular usage is about US $ 3-5 per night....
In winter, the air-condition use is hardly needed.

You have access to the entire house and the beach front terrace which leads to the beach!
Other things to note
Parties and pets are not allowed. Smoking and incense burning not allowed inside the house.
Air-condition use is metered.
