This apartment is situated in a lovely quiet suburb (urbanization) called Torrenueva approximately 20 minutes from Marbella and 20 minutes from Malaga Airport.
Within close proximity of shops, restaurants, the local markets and supermarkets (nearest supermarket 200 metres). On bus route from Fuengirola to Marbella - buses run every 20 minutes in either direction (bus stop 200 metres from door). There are at least 20 restaurants within a radius of 2kms of the apartment.
The apartment has 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, kitchen, large lounge/diningroom and a lovely large enclosed balcony overlooking the magnificent Mediterranean Sea.
There is plenty to do, being in such a good situation, you are able to visit places such as Seville, Cordoba, Nerja, Ronda, Gibralta and the beautiful Alhambra near Granada.
This is a very nice secure apartment, sufficiently far enough away from the main crowded holiday resorts. A holiday, home from home, where you can enjoy 'wall to wall' sunshine almost every day of the year.
Short term rental available from 350 Euros per week. Long term rental negotiable from 1000 Euros per month.
Nearest beach only 300 metres down the road. The sea is a mere 70 metres from the balcony with 180 degree sea views.
Interaction with Guests
I am available on line to help guests to enjoy the apartment and to get the best out of this lovely part of Spain.
In the heart of the Costa del Sol but in a quiet cul de sac far from the maddening crowds. Beach, Golf and a variety of restaurants including Chinese and Indian 200 meters down the road. Within a range of 2 kilometres there must be at least 12 really good restaurants and one golf course)
There is a bus service (very reasonable tariff) 20 minutes in each direction between Marbella (18 kilometres) and Fuengirola (12 Kilometres).
For more places to visit a hired car is suggested, but public transport is available and cheap. e.g. Bus to Fuengirola plus train to Malaga plus/minus 5 Euros per person. Trains from Fuengirola to Malaga and back run every twenty minutes.
Other Things to Note
The apartment is within commuting days outings by car or bus to Seville, Gibraltar, Cordoba, Grenada, Nerja, Malaga, Ronda and many other places including an array of old Roman cities, castles and other ruins.

TO TURN THE WATER ON, YOU MUST TURN ON THE STOP COCK (TAP), IT IS LOCATED UNDER THE SINK IN THE KITCHEN. TO SWITCH THE HOT WATER ON, PLUG IN THE PLUG SITUATED IN THE CUPBOARD ABOVE THE WASHING MACHINE (Cleaner may have already done so).
INSTRUCTIONS FOR THE WASHING MACHINE ARE IN THE CUPBOARD ABOVE THE MACHINE.
WE ASK THAT YOU DO NOT SIT ON THE FURNITURE WITH SUNTAN LOTION ON.
PLEASE DO NOT SMOKE IN THE APARTMENT.
BEFORE YOU VACATE THE APARTMENT –
PLEASE TAKE ALL GARBAGE TO THE BINS LOCATED DOWN THE ROAD, opposite the Supermecado.
CHECK UNDER THE BEDS! TRY NOT TO LEAVE ANYTHING BEHIND WHEN YOU LEAVE.
IN AN EMERGENCY, PLEASE PHONE - EITHER THE MAINTENANCE MAN OR THE CLEANER. (PHONE NUMBERS WILL BE PROVIDED ON THE INFORMATION DOCUMENT ON BOOKING).

THE APARTMENT IS CLEANED BEFORE AND AFTER GUESTS TAKE UP RESIDENCE. IF GUESTS WANT THE APARTMENT CLEANED DURING THEIR STAY, THE CLEANER WILL DO SO FOR A FEE (currently 40 Euros per clean)
SUGGESTED PLACES TO VISIT (much more on information document).
MIJAS PUEBLO (TOWN) about 25 minutes from apartment, take the Motorway back towards Fuengirola and watch out for the sign to Mijas, it is really worth a visit. Good shopping !! lovely old Spanish town..
CABOPINO BEACH. Turn right onto the motorway and go about 3 kms, just past Calahonda, watch for the signs.. a family favourite.
ORANGE SQUARE MARBELLA..this is a lovely part of the “old town” of Marbella, head right along the motorway for about 12 kms till you get to the big “Coca Cola” on the left of the motorway, take the turn off here and head down to Marbella, go under the big MARBELLA sign, keep going until you get to a lot of greenery (park) on the left, slow down, turn up one of the little roads to the right that has the PARKING sign in blue, Takes you to the undergound parking garage. Ask directions to Orange Square from there..
PUERTO BANUS.. a few kms past Marbella. Parking under el Corte Inglais the large departmental store, walk to the harbour from there. Ask directions if needed. Also nice at night with all the lights etc. Puerto Banus is also known as ‘Little Monte Carlo’.
BENALMADENA HARBOUR head along the motorway back past Fuengirola, look for the sign to Benalmadena Costa, follow this road till you get to Benalmadena, ask for directions to the harbour, very nice to walk around here.
NERJA … takes just over an hours drive up the coast past Malaga. Go to the Balcon de Europa in Nerja, lovely scenery and a good place to visit.
EL TORCAL.. very interesting !! Check on the map, it is about 45 kms from Malaga, head towards Antequera and follow all the signs, well worth a visit too. A lovely day out. Stop for a meal in Antequera, there are lots of lovely restaurants in this town.
FUENGIROLA CASTLE…Well worth a visit. Lovely views from the top of the castle, originally built by the Phoenicians 1000BC.
SEVILLE, CORDOBA, GIBRALTER AND GRENADA ARE ALL WITHIN A DISTANCE FOR A DAY OUT VISIT…
p.s. If the cleaner cannot be present when you leave, please drop the apartment keys into the bathroom through the sliding window. Make sure you’ve first opened the security gate to the complex. ;-)
