In your apartment you’ll find coffee and tea to start, but we do not serve breakfast. There are several bakeries and stores nearby, so you can prepare your own breakfast in the apartment if you like, but the area is known for good eating and here are several places in the neighborhood where you can discover more exciting choices than coffee and bread.

The area is known for its seafood restaurants and Jeanneke Pis : a modern fountain and statue in Brussels, which forms a counterpoint in gender terms to the city's trademark Manneken Pis at the Grand Place.
Don't forget to go to the Midi Market every Sunday morning to pick up your fresh fruits and veggies. Supermarkets are close by. Everything Brussels has to offer is at your finger tips and just a (cobble) stone throw away.
The Sablon, a five minute walk, is in the center of town in the old city. You’re a two minute walk from the Grand’Place. The Sunday antique market is near to your place. Only a 15 minute walk to the daily flea market (marché aux puces) or the exuberant Sunday South Market (food and clothes) at the South (Midi/Zuid) Station

The apartment was in a great location! Really close to sites, restaurants and transportation. It was also very clean and comfortable. Only bad part was that we were there during a hot spell and there is no A/C or even fans in the apartment to cool it down. There is also a lot of street noise that lasts pretty late into the night.
Nice apartment in an excellent location. Easy walk to shops, restaurants and tourist attractions. Inside was very clean and comfortable for our family of 4. A binder and several pamphlets with area information were also a nice touch. Highly recommended.
Nice apartment in a very central location, although the wifi did not work well.
Unfortunately ,the host was very difficult to deal with, sending me multiple, lengthy phone messages, telling me how she will only wait for one hour and will charge me extra if I am late. I understood the first time and found it rude and condescending that she repeatedly sent me the same message.
She also asked that I provide any negative feedback privately to her, but leave only a positive review on the airbnb site. Airbnb should be about open and honest feedback for fellow travellers and hosts to see.
For these reasons, I would not recommend this apartment.
We were met by a nice bloke called Ivan who despite our lack of French and his lack of English, welcomed us on a late Sunday evening.
The apartment is located in a brilliant area, very close to Le Grand Place, and lovely restaurants. The apartment is lovely and clean and very spacious. I would recommended and hope to return to both this apartment and Brussels.
Great value stay at a nice, central location in Brussels. Seamless communication and key pick-up. The apartment was perfect for our requirements and we would certainly stay here again if we return to Brussels.
